Quinta Jardins do Lago

Sejour delicieux dans un cadre magnifique.. Le professionalisme de haut niveau du personnel de l’hôtel est un enchantement. Nous avons tout aimé: les chambres la restauration la piscine le jardin luxuriant.

Das Frühstück war überragend und der Garten (besser als der botanische Garten). Nettes Persona. Einl wunderbarer Ort um Madeira zu erkunden!

Le cadre exceptionnel notamment lié au Jardin. Le personnel qui travaille est d’un très grand professionnalisme et d’une excellente efficacité, de plus d’une gentillesse et d’une élégance remarquable. Enfin le reste est à l’image de ce lieu raffiné.

Hotel location, although slightly out of the town centre, the curtesy bus provided during the day was perfect. All staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Accommodation was superb, from rooms to the rest of the hotel and pool area. We wanted a quiet relaxing holiday and that was exactly what we had.

Our 4th visit to the Quinta and we will be back. Food is totally amazing, having breakfast outside surrounded by bird song and lush stunning gardens, tended by a wonderful team of gardeners. The beautiful Beresford restaurant. The Quinta manor house is stunning. The staff are what brings it all together with such care and detail. Bedrooms are spacious, elegant with beautiful bedding, taken care of by the dedicated team. The pool and sun bathing areas are immaculate. A very special place !

Magnificent garden makes the location perfect, great food, friendly staff, super pleasant atmosphere

A top hotel with very close attention to detail. Great food, service and a soothing, relaxed atmosphere.
The pool area and gardens are stunningly beautiful.
We booked a junior suite to celebrate our 30th anniversary and were very impressed. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the gardens and sea. The hotel went above and beyond to make our stay feel special.
There is a great free WiFi service that covers every square inch of the hotel,
pool area and grounds.
Evening dining options alternate between the indoor ‘Beresford’ restaurant and the outdoor terrace. Breakfast is served every morning on the terrace and comprises of a combined self-service buffet/ table service for cooked dishes.
Lunch is served by the pool daily until 5pm.
There is, of course, room service.
We had a lovely week-long holiday and would highly recommend this hotel.
Funchal, like most of Madeira, is very hilly. From the hotel, it is about a mile down a very steep hill to the marina, bars, shops, museums and restaurants. The hotel offers a complementary shuttle bus to and from the marina area. However, this ceases at 17.45. Taxis are plentiful and relatively inexpensive at around 12 Euros each way.
There are a good range of organised trips that can be arranged through the hotel. We booked some of these which we found well organised, informative and value for money.
This was our first visit to Madeira and we were very well looked after!

This is the third time we have stayed at Quinta Jardins do Lago. It was so very relaxing wandering through the lush gardens, visiting Colombo, the Galapagos turtle. The pool area serving lovely bar meals. The restaurant has a menu which changes daily and an ala crate menu, the food is different but delicious. The staff in all areas of the hotel are wonderful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This was our third time staying here and whenever we’re going to come back to Madeira, there’s no doubt that we’ll stay here again. There’s something magical about this place, the gardens, the staff, everything is just so wonderful.

A total haven. Just my favourite hotel in every way - wonderfully quiet but yet convenient location, beautiful gardens, spotlessly clean, huge comfortable bed, lovely pool, amazing unobtrusive yet very helpful staff. We have been twice now and will be back.

We have recently returned from our fifth visit to this exquisite hotel in Madeira. There is just nothing to fault with this hotel as everything is five star. The accommodation, the gardens, the pool and all of the amenities are beautifully maintained. It is the staff that make this hotel exceptional as nothing is too much trouble for them and they are all superb ambassadors for the establishment. We look forward to returning again.
