The staff at this hotel were excellent. Very friendly, good local knowledge, eager to help. The communal area of the hotel was very nice and we enjoyed the breakfast (continental style). Our room was a good size. The location was close enough to restaurants, shops and amenities, whilst still being off the beaten track enough to be nice and quiet. The water taxi was able to drop us off right at the hotel door from the airport, so not no dragging cases round the city to find it!
The upholstered walls seemed a strange choice for a hotel bedroom. I suspect they were chosen to match the traditional decor, but they were not in a good state. The artwork was a little depressing. The bathroom was very small and the shower had a plastic shower curtain that didn't do a good job of keeping the water in the shower. The view was of a disused courtyard on one side and a wall on the other side. No air conditioning, so was too warm during the night.

Struttura storica molto bella. Stanza grande e ben arredata, posizione in sola tranquilla e comoda alle attrazioni più importanti.

We loved the staff, location and breakfast. The hotel is authenticity Venetian with history and style. The staff were so helpful and friendly - especially Alessandro. The room was great for our needs - on the ground floor, comfortable.
Where do I start, right from our entry at the hotel you know it’s something special. The boats pull up outside and Alessandro was waiting to make everything so easy (even up to carrying our suitcases).
We then got upgraded for free to the best room in the hotel for no reason whatsoever! The room is literally out of a dream. The only hotel comparable to this stay was the Savoy in London. Literally that dreamy - the photos will show for themselves.
The breakfast was perfect. There was a smart TV. And location was perfect.
Fantastic value for money - honestly I’d go as far as saying it’s even too affordable for what it is???

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und auch Verabschiedung. Die Ausstattung im Zimmer war gut und die ganze Atmosphäre im Foyer ist so, wie man sich es in Venedig wünscht.
Die Matratze ist mir zu hart. Ich schlafe schlecht auf diesen harten Dingern und bin am Morgen entsprechend schlecht erholt.
