Not dirty but a very strange atmosphere

Nothing, pictures in the booking website.

Cons:

Very lacking in facilities. Had to wait 20 minutes to check in because there was no one on the reception desk. Rooms were very bare and basic. Toilet so high my legs were swinging and could reach the floor, I'm 5 ft, so it's bit ridiculous. The hotel has no night staff it's unmanaged. Speaking to a locasl about where we were staying said and I qote "you're brave". Left me, actually questioning if the place was haunted, consequently was awake at about 2.30 in the morning for 2 hours waiting for a shadow or a creak, footsteps even! Wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Clean but basic and expensive
Pros:

The building was lovely, we were able to park for free, it was mostly very quiet. The room was clean.

Cons:

There were no staff around so no clean towels, cups etc for the second night. Our room was not what I expected for the price and description of a king room and I hated that we had a joining door between our room and the one next door. This did not feel like good value for the price.

Basic facilities, clean and perfectly comfortable, no staff at all.
Pros:

This more a hostel / air BnB than a hotel. There is no staff at all, access by key pad and small key safe.
The roof was clean with coffee and tea making facility, nice clean towels and no problems with hot water.
It's just a basic room but perfectly adequate for what I wanted, it's not the Ritz but there again it's not Ritz prices. good for an overnight stay.

Cons:

The key and the room door knob both operate in the opposite direction than on almost every door......in the world !!, who fits door furniture like that !. Took me about 15mins to get into my room because the door knob was very very stiff and required turning in the counter intuitive direction.......watch out for this if you get room 17.
Apart from this it was quite ok.

Bom para uma estadia curta
Pros:

Muito pratico e bem situado este alojamento proporciona uma estadia para um ou dois dias no centro, com bom atendimento e conforto razoavel. Tem parqueamento, o que facilita.

The hotel could be nice with more care and breakfast.
Pros:

Very central near nice local pub horse and jockey. It had car parking space and was very central.

Cons:

The room we had was next to the busy road. The shower drain is pretty blocked so shower took ages to empty. No breakfast and the lift did not work.

Pros:

Bathroom was very clean and modern in the triple room.

Cons:

No staff on site
Have to call a number from online and ask for a key pad number to be let in the front door. Was given the wrong number twice. Then you have a key box outside your room to which we also was given the wrong numbers the first time. Was there for an hour before getting into my room.
