Awful..booked a quadruple room and it was more like 4 single beds had been thown in a stock cupboard. Only 1 socket in entire room. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. No food allowed.
Not 3 star quality more like 2. Glad we only had 1 night stay before moving on. Wolud NEVER book again.

I was in this hotel for 7 nights and can say that they need to look at cleaning very seriously.
For week the bed in our room was changed only 1 time bathroom is very dirty and Bathroom curtain was mouldy. We booked room for 2 but get extra bed which was extremely necessary and not any table or place we’re we can put a class of water for night time.
I will never go back there and don’t recommend .

great food but the last night of our stay in room 346 the people in the room next to is kept banging around in the corridor

Just rubbish. Facilities, staff, standard of the rooms, beds.. dust hanging out of aircon units in suite and restaurant area. Malgrat was lovely, transfers were reliably unreliable. And a 5 minute walk from the drop off zone. Other than that, a great place to be.

firstly the location was good for the train station , the restaurant staff and bar staff were absolutely faultless , cheerful happy helpful people , reception staff , helpful , but thats where the best bits end unfortunately , food was edible but lukewarm at best and very repetitive , if you like variations of pork dishes you will love eating here , , if youre looking for entertainment then you,ll be disappointed , no games for adults during the afternoon , very little interaction with the crew even though they were only a few kids there ( 3 entertainment crew were there ) restaurant closes at 9pm so you would think the entertainment would start not long after , nope majority of time it started at 10pm which alternated from a singer, a quiz , or karaoke with almost zero interaction from the crew , we had room 252 which was compact , the ballcony could just about hold the 2 chairs perched on it , unfortunately the bin that recycles the glass is emptied at 5 am every morning so if you have a room at the rear of the hotel be prepared to be woken up , its a 3 star hotel so be prepared for memory foam mattresses , paper thin walls and a hotel that needs some updating , theres a few small supermarket shops nearby and a 5 minute walk to a street lined with various eateries and drinking places if youre after a pub which has visiting singers or those with quizzes , bingo etc then youll be disappointed , visiting other hotels is the only place we found singers , a big pity indeed

So, having read very mixed reviews. After spending the last 7 days here I thought I should leave an honest review.
On arrival the outside area and front looks amazing. Beautiful and clean, with a good size pool for the size of the hotel.

Bar area lovely and not expensive
Restaurant- ok so they have time slots for you to attend meals (if you have booked breakfast, lunch or dinner), food seems to be a very random assortment of different foods, some lovely others not so much, but always a lovely fresh salad bar, cheese and meats to choose from, at all meal times.Breakfast is random, what I can only described as tinned ham sliced and grilled in place of bacon. The beans are stone cold, and sausages are like tinned hot dog sausages, but nice selection of pastries and breads.
Rooms - in need of modernisation..VERY dated, enamel in the bath tub peeled off. BUT very clean and fresh towels. Just remember to ask reception for a key to turn the fridge on. No tea or coffee or kettle in rooms. Just the beds, 1 chair, wardrobe, telly, fridge, towels, and soap, and shower gel. Shower worked amazingly well and water stayed hot the whole time. Air con in room worked very well and was much appreciated.
Lack of power sockets in the rooms, 1 above the bed and one in bathroom.. no usb.
No sound proofing, could here every little noise.
However, what we all need to remember is that it is only a 3 star hotel. Very cheap and cheerful. Plenty of other places to eat and drink along the roads either way.
The train came in very handy for day trips and very cheap. We went to Barcelona on the train.
Subways under train track to access beach. Which is beautiful.
We have met some amazing people and absolutely would recommend this hotel to others as long as they realise, it is just 3 stars.
And at the end of the day, we didn't go to sit in the dated rooms all day. Make the most of the area and enjoy your stay.

Room stank of cigarette smoke, bedding had rips in it, shower couldn’t cope with water so flooded the bedroom, no room to move on balcony, no where to hang swimwear to dry, ants in room, fridge not working, mould round pool above water level, no idea how it’s three star wouldn’t even give it one, cleaning lady was nice and tried her best

If you want to sleep on holiday, this may not be the place for you. Single glazed windows, paper thin walls, creaky beds and slamming doors all added up to very bad sleep every night. Maybe we were unlucky as we looked out on the street at another hotel entrance but listening to people "chatting" until 4:30am is not conducive to a good night's sleep.
We were lucky if we got 4 hours a night, as we could hear the people in the next room yawning, we were not the only one's struggling to sleep.
Hotel is dated but the staff were really good.
Maybe a good place if you intend to be drunk continuously and can sleep through anything.

Very unpleasant Russian reception staff. The bathroom stinks. The good things are the food and the distance to the beach.

We can read good and bad reviews about this hotel!

I did the mistake, booked (fullboard) for 3 of us for 9 nights for last week of august.

I know we say : if it's a budget holiday you get what you pay for. True... but it was even worse than ***... i'd give 1, no more!

Last year we had Guitart Hotel ***, which was fantastic, i thought could be similar, but not a bit.

The worst hotel we've seen ever.

First of all, beleive me, we are not a fossy family at all, swear to God! 🙏

Just couple things :

The restaurant was so small we had to queue for dinner for 45 mins! The selection is a piece of sh#t, there's almost nothing and if u find something, tasteless!
Hair in the food! When we mentioned it, they didn't want to see it then when my wife showed it to them, they just said : " Oh!" - and that was it!

The room (for 3 of us) was so small, when i entered the door almost hit the corner of the bed. We couldn't store the suitcases anywhere.

Terrible squeaky beds.

Shortly after we arrived the fire alarm gone off. OMG... the noise, people were running around like headless chicken, kids were scared, lots of them were crying... competely chaos!

No staff around to tell you what to do.

Noone checked the rooms if they got emptied!

When we got down to the reception desk still no1 around! Live music was still on, never stopped. After all these happenings still no receptionists around, NOONE AT ALL!

Never been told what happened!

Saying something : " Sorry for the inconvenience, everybody can go back to the rooms!" - nothing like this!

Then i said, enough. Next day we left to Lloret to Astoria Park Hotel ****, was awesome, everything!

Like we jumped from 1 star to 5!!!

Loveholidays helped me to get the refund, but the hotel charged 1 night penalty because we left early, so 2 nights paid. Fcukers!

Disgraceful customer service. This place is not for families. I went all inclusive but still had to pay for certain drinks, ice creams for the kids. The food is nothing short of horrible. The same food every day. There's no snacks like burgers or hot dogs for kids. The staff are so ignorant its crazy. This place is for stags.
The rooms are tiny and very old fashioned. The entertainment starts at 9 and is over at 11 and all inclusive is finished at 12. Your basically told to be quiet after that. The only thing going for this hotel is its location.

Never EVER again.

Who ever gave this place a 3 star rating must have been blind.

Rooms are basic but fine, food is ok different tapas style, Oscar, Omar and Raul are lovely on the bar, Sara is extremely rude and shouldn’t be in a customer based role. Plenty of sunbeds, basically pay for what you get

Check in was quick and the staff were very welcoming we were all inclusive but not to be as you pay for a lot of things we're other hotels would not charge you the restaurant food was bad very bad we eat out the few days we were there don't go Al inclusive he it's a waste of money bar was OK pool area and garden areas were nice 3 out of 5 was because of the staff and the pool and garden area other then that the hotel need a update

It was awful. The food made my son and I very ill. We stopped going in there and found nearby restaurants to eat at.
The noise and music was extremely loud to the point you can feel the room vibrating that didn't stop until midnight. With us having planned activities each day wasn't good as it ruined out days out. The ONLY plug socket in the room is above the bed. I had to move the beds and put the bedside table in-between just so my phone could charge. You can also hear absolutely everything in the 2 rooms either side of yours. One side they were throwing up most nights. I guess from the food 🤷🏻‍♀️
The childrens evening entertainment starts at 10pm... Yes 10pm for the the childrens entertainment! I mean... That's beyond a joke. The room was so dirty, the water ran yellow for 5 mins and stank of urine. The sinks stank of sewage. I refused to let either of us use the taps for cleaning our teeth. I spent money on bottled water to drink and use to wash.
Some of the staff (not all) were incredibly rude to us. It's very clear they didn't like English people. I was made to stand waiting for about 15 mins while the receptionist had a laugh with a colleague of hers, when he finally left she then told me to come over. Nothing was organised properly, no help of support for your questions. Just utterly horrendous. Definitely not a 3 star hotel for sure. At best... A 1 star. We had a very disappointing and ruined holiday due to the fact we weren't allowed to sleep before midnight 7 days in a row!! We came home feeling so rundown and ill from the whole thing. I was even looking at nearby hotels that had space... I would have just paid out for some sleep but sadly they were all fully booked. I feel robbed of a holiday that I saved 2 years to have..... Very angry as I won't be able to take my son away again for a very long time. 2k wasted along with our time and health. I was ready to leave and go home by day 4 out of 7. I ended up crying as I just couldn't cope with it anymore

Der Hotel war gut.Umgebung super man kann einkaufen ohne Ende.Man könnte alles zu Fuß erreichen Sogar Apotheke war in der Nähe.Strand super direkt vor dem Hotel.Die Zimmer sind auch mit Meer-Blick das fanden wir so toll.Immer wieder gern.

Not a family resort at all. buffet food is rubbish for kids, pool is tiny, rooms outdated and stink. And the noise is ridiculous til gone midnight. This was all discovered dirst day

This hotel was a major disappointment. The breakfast was unacceptable — the food tasted old, and the plates, forks, and knives were clearly not properly cleaned. Hygiene standards seemed to be lacking. The restaurant staff looked constantly stressed, which made the entire atmosphere tense and unpleasant.

The room was tiny, with barely enough space to move. The beds were uncomfortable and squeaked loudly with every movement, making it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep

We have been on family vacation with 14 and 7 years old kids. Quadruple room, back of the hotel view, quiet and nice for rest and sleep. Yes, the rooms are small and bit outdated but is good value for money. If you left the sign on the door they coming to clean your room and change towels every day.
We have been on full board, the food was excellent. All staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is in really good location, beachfront, close to restaurants, bars and shops. The train station is just short walk ( if you want to have a day trip to Barcelona). Malgrat de Mar is charming place to explore, you can find a lot for the local history. Definitely coming back.

So I’ve just left the hotel today stayed for 4 nights. Just me and my two kids as a single parent.

Where the hotel is located , it is nice , lots of shops , the beach opposite where you have to walk down under an underpass to reach due to the train track inbetween both hotel and beach but it’s literally like 5 min walk. The beach is more of a small Stoney beach , so kids could not build sandcastle . The chairs on the beach was €8 each and the umbrella an additional €8 which you have until 6:30pm. There is restaurants on the beach. I went to one at the very top and spent around £25 and that was for two smoothies , one coffee , chips , small squid and one hot dog. So not to bad.

Now let’s get to the hotel. So the swimming pool area is very small. And I mean very , the pictures make it look waaay bigger then what it is. So on arrival the reception part was very small and very busy. as I went half board I was given my room key and then off I went but others that was all inclusive got given a wrist band. Now the room I was in wasn’t small but it wasn’t the best. The bathroom outdated very small , old strained shower curtain bath and sink basin. There was this smell coming from the bathroom that smelt like old smelly pipes I had to keep the door close and just to go toilet or shower or anything me or kids didn’t want to go in there. The smell was awful. Now in the room there was a safe and a fridge but amazingly the fridge didn’t work. I plugged it in and out checked the plug was working and all okay but the fridge just didn’t work. So not great at all. Tv in the room too with English channels so kids were happy. We had 4 single beds and uncomfortable is not the word to use. The pillows like sleeping on rocks in a pillow case. And the beds was like camping beds that screeched and creaked every time you moved it was horrible.

The food hmmm lets just say we was left hungry almost all the time. Very little selection and the dinning area was very small and also just FYI you have to pay for all drinks at dinner time !! This is not included ! I was shocked by this. Even people that had bands still had to pay for drinks like water and coke it was unreal. I ended up going shops and just buying drinks from there instead. So just fyi you will rack up a bill before you know it even on all inclusive !

Now I was on the first floor and my god it was loud not anything the hotel could do but people are really unreasonable, the shouting the banging on the doors at 2am the walls are so thin you can hear every footstep every word every toilet flush every drop of water so for a light sleeper like me I got no sleep. I’m more tired than I was before I came on holiday.

So in my opinion I would rather spend the extra £150/200 and go somewhere a little bit better. As in total I spent more then this on buy food out and snacks and drinks for me and my two kids.

I was quite disappointed with gluten free options and lactose free food.
The food tasted horrible and poor quality this Hotel is more for Entertainment not for food.
Please improve on the food.

The room I was in was nice and got cleaned regularly which was great nice cleaning maids.
