More Suited to a Corporate Conference than the Random Guest.
Pros:

I thought this hotel was overpriced for what was on offer.
We booked a one night stay because were having dinner with Philly area friends at the hotel's restaurant, The Farmer's Daughter. Dining outside there is quite nice.
Check-in was fast and friendly. Our Manor House King room was in one of the outbuildings. In good weather this may be an advantage as the building was dead quiet, but in inclement weather you will have to walk across an uncovered lot to your room.
We rode the elevator to a room without much character - the room was spacious, but awkwardly configured -- the TV faced a small settee off to the side and was not mounted at a good angle for viewing in bed. I found the channel selection bewildering - I think that the idea was to use your own streaming account.
One robe was provided - otherwise the accommodation was about the level of a Hilton Garden Inn - there was one of those standard shower tubs, not a stall shower.
Our building had no vending options and water was not proved at checkout, so had to trudge back to the main building for a drink. The front desk staff offered free water bottles and I bought a drink from the machines in an area off the lobby.
A complimentary breakfast was offered - but it was served in the bar and not in the Farmer's Daughter. A buffet offered the usual tasteless steam table scrambled eggs, some good bacon and home fries, and quartered waffles with a few berries. Oddly there was no sliced bread for toast, only bagels, but a decent mini chocolate croissant and cake were on offer.
At check out the hotel added a $15.00 resort fee- while this is disclosed if you check your reservation carefully, I am struggling to characterize this as a resort.
Perhaps this property is better for a corporate conference than the random guest. For us the extra expense over a chain hotel did not pay off

Everything was lovely!!
Pros:

Our son and his bride were married at The Belle. Many family and friends stayed at the hotel. And we had the rehearsal dinner at the Farmer's Daughter. The rooms were clean, convenient and a great value for the money. The staff was simply excellent. Highly recommend.

This hotel need competition to be better
Pros:

This hotel seems to exist to host nearby business travelers and desperately needs competition. They also need to take a tour of modern hotels and get a look at what constitutes modern and standard.

No water bottles in the room at all. No glasses for that matter. Vending machines were either out of water (wonder why?) or set at cash only, that would be $2.50 in quarters if you are planning to try it.

My tub did not drain at all and yes the drain was open. It took about 30 minutes to empty after a shower. Tell me how that isn't noticed by the cleaning crew week after week.

No night lights in the bathroom at night.

Not enough outlets in the room or poorly placed.

The TV was set to a zoom picture so when I watched the football game the score and time bar was cut off.

No channel guide and the remote barely worked.

I ate two meals in the restaurant. Both were good in terms of food and portion but took forever. I had to get one of them to go.

The buffet food was OK for buffet food.

The people were generally friendly but the whole place had the feel of running through the motions. Next time I'm in the area, I'll stay somewhere else that can handle the basics. So bad for our countrym

Lovely, romantic getaway.
Pros:

If you are trying to decide if you want to stay here, let me help you make that decision.
Clean? yes!
Room Decor? Tasteful and simple. Nothing fancy. But nothing plain.
Room size? Ample for a double Queen room. Decent sized bathroom, small closet. Amenities? Equipped with TV, coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge. The ports for charging on clack and light fixtures was a great touch. Bathroom ok. Premise? Overall was stunning and well-maintained. Cozy lobby with fireplace.
Service? Top notch. One item to note the air was filled with a lovely subtle scent in the common areas that they must have pumped in (that gave me joy).
Features? Has on-site pool, jacuzzi and fitness. Has an on-site restaurant and bar that was great. On-site, no cost parking. The evenings call for a nice sit by the fire on the patio. Great vibe. Grab and go breakfast in the lobby included bagels, croissants and fruit with coffee/tea/OJ, etc.
Price? It was a last minute find for an overnight stay for our anniversary and it was perfect choice. The price was right: $199 so we pulled the trigger.
Was it too busy since it also serves as a wedding venue? In addition to on-site bar and restaurant this place serves as a wedding venue. There were three weddings that evening and I barely noticed so that should not be a concern.
Noise? Sleeping rooms were quite sound proof on third floor never heard any music or clamor from their soirées.
Bed comfort? My only feedback for the hotel is to reconsider the mattresses they are using. They seemed sloping, lopsided and hard. It was one of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve had in a hotel so it cost you one star. Don’t use this brand bc it does not match the rest of your quality.
Would I come again? My husband and I enjoyed our stay and would consider returning if we are ever in area celebrating something special again.
Well done, Normandy! Thank you for a memorable, enjoyable stay!
