Pros:

Hotel Tramontano is a beautifull hotel in a perfect location in Sorrento, just behind the Villa Comunale. The sea view from the room and the restaurant is spectacular.
It’s tradicional hotel with profesonal service, beautiful garden, in the garden there is a pool with a restaurant.
I loved everything about this hotel, it’s like I imagined our stay in Sorrento.

Pros:

The location was tremendous and the hotel room was beautiful. The views were wonderful. We ate dinner in Thor restaurant, which was great but it was a bit awkward as we were the only guests having dinner there.

Cons:

Breakfast service was moderate, had a cpl moments where we felt like we were getting dirty looks from staff.

Nosso quarto tinha vista para o Golfo e o Vesúvio, com uma pequena varanda. Um sonho! O pequeno almoço era farto e variado, as áreas comuns do hotel são muito bonitas e vale a pena desfrutar delas algumas horas. O hotel fica a 15 mins de caminhada, tranquila, desde a estação férrea e do Porto (aqui a caminhada é mais exigente, pois exige algum fôlego. O hotel (e a cidade) ficam no alto da falésia). Fica muito perto do centro histórico, com restaurantes e lojinhas. Os funcionários são atenciosos, gentis e prestativos. Nossa experiência foi muito boa!

No air conditioning until May! Beautiful hotel and staff
Pros:

The property was perfectly located! The staff were exceptional in every way. They all provided excellent service.

Cons:

When we got there our room was completely different than what was pictured, sadly they advertise air conditioning and decided not to turn on until May. It was hot in our room they offered a fan and finally we could not take the heat and moved to another hotel in Positano…the view was amazing!

Great location, lovely gardens and poolside

Great location, comfortable and good size room, helpful staff, lovely gardens and poolside

Cons:

Smelly bathroom! By the end of each day it reeked of stale water. Al see I had confiding messages about the air con, was not on then it was, but no mention of closing the windows first- the breakfast choices were also limited for that quality of hotel
