Important information:

For those arriving by car, the hotel is in a restricted traffic area but hotel guests have permission to enter. The easiest thing to do is park at Piazza Partigiani and take the escalator straight up to the hotel.

Via Bonazzi is blocked by an illuminated barrier. Simply press the bell in the wall on your right to deactivate it.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Lovely gem of a hotel
Pros:

This is a gem of a hotel located down a small cobbled street just off Piazza della Repubblica. It's one of those rare places which feels grand yet tastefully restored, with beautiful marble, dark wood, and polished hardwood floors. Our room was spacious and wonderfully quirky, accessed via a quiet corridor and secured by a sturdy metal vaultlike door! The breakfast selection was ample, with plenty of space to sit without rubbing elbows with other guests. The front desk staff were very approachable, happily booking a taxi for our onward journey. It was a shame we were only in Perugia for one night, as this is the kind of memorable hotel that truly makes your heart sing, and the perfect base to explore the city.

Cons:

If I was being really picky, it would have been nice to have the option of freshly made coffee for breakfast rather than from a machine, but that's a minor nit-pick

Fabulous stay in hotel fortuna , great find! Very handy base to explore Perugia , central for cafes, shops, sightseeing
Pros:

Lovely Italian hotel, very close to all the cafes , shops, sights of interest
Staff were really welcoming and helpful
Room was very spacious, bed was super comfy and air conditioning worked
We had a small balcony and to wake up to the view was amazing
Also had continental breakfast

Cons:

Nothing not to like
But for dropping off its worth noting that cars can’t get right to hotel door, taxi dropped us off in nearby piazza and only a short walk to hotel entrance
