Convenient location, Stayed 3 nights and no room service scheduled. Dissapointing

I stayed at this hotel from Tuesday, April 7 to Friday, April 10, and while the room was clean upon check-in, the service quickly declined after the first night.

After our first evening, we used all the towels and requested fresh ones for the second night. However, we were told by the front desk that they could not bring towels to the room and that I would have to go down and get them myself, which was very inconvenient.

By the third day, our room had still not been cleaned since the night we arrived. I contacted the corporate office to file a complaint, and they assured me someone would come to clean the room. Unfortunately, several hours passed and no one showed up. Around 1 PM, I saw a housekeeper and asked if she would be cleaning our room, only to be told that our room was not even on her list.

At that point, I was extremely frustrated. I explained that it was our third day without service and that we needed the room cleaned and fresh towels. For a stay that was paid for three adults and one child, I expected much better attention to housekeeping and guest service.

Overall, this experience was disappointing due to the lack of basic housekeeping and poor follow-through. I hope management improves communication and service so future guests do not have to deal with the same issues.

Pros:

We enjoyed the location as it was in walking distance of some great restaurants and the venue we were going to.

Cons:

The elevator wasn’t working, and when we returned from our venue late at night, there were vagrants outside. The hotel staff let us in without confirming we had a booking.

Would Have been better with a clear parking situation that you could afford for several days.
Pros:

Very nice property and was very easy to find. The room was very Clean. Staff and the Breakfast was very good. No problem with the actual property.

Cons:

First of all the parking situation is very hard to understand. The hotel only offers Valet parking that is very expensive per day. The Street has parking meters that would not let us pay and no signs stating what days are free. (The Valet told us the were free on Saturdays and Sundays. Plus there appeared to be an Abandoned vehicle in one of the spaces with no tags. There are 2 parking lots beside the Hotel but also very confusing on the pricing. No way we could see on how to pay for days in advance. You would think the Hotel would work a deal on parking with one of those lots.
