Neglected hotel in poor conditions

It has a great location. I think that is why it has guests.

Cons:

I had a very disappointing stay at Petit Palace President Castellana. A severely neglected hotel in very poor condition, with rusted bathrooms, peeling walls and damaged finishes, uncomfortable beds and rock-hard pillows, below-average cleanliness, a dirty lobby with broken tiles, and ineffective air conditioning that cannot be adjusted to cool the room—even when temperatures suddenly rise. I would not recommend staying here.

La mejor ubicación en Madrid. El hotel necesita renovación
Pros:

La ubicación inmejorable y el desayuno variado y bueno.

Cons:

Nuestra habitación, una suite de dos pisos bastante oscura. Ni con las luces prendidas veías bien. Los baños deberían tener puerta para comodidad de los huéspedes. El baño tampoco tenía espejo.

Not worth the price point. Air conditioning was broken. Beds aren't comfy.
Pros:

Booked the room and states it has aircon on the website and booking and when getting to the hotel was told the aircon doesn't work. Did not work for entire trip. Room was very warm. Bed was also very uncomfortable with very thin pillows. Basic room with little amenities. Not worth the price paid. The location was good but overall the hotel is not what I would consider 4 stars and definitely not for the price point.

Buen equipo pero instalaciones requieren mejoras
Pros:

Un buen servicio del personal del hotel

Cons:

La iluminacion del cuarto no funciona, por razones de mantenimiento los 3 días estuvimos son Aire Acondicionado. Creo que el problema principal es las instalaciones , servicio es bueno

Loved The Petit Palace President Hotel
Pros:

I had a wonderful time at the Petit Palace President Hotel - The room was spacious and surprisingly quiet - Great breakfast.

The location is fantastic - you can easily walk to numerous shops and restaurants. Its very close to bus stops, so easy to get to the airport.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile and a map.

Overall, this hotel offers great value with its combination of comfort, location, and service. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
