Extremely disappointing experience. We were illegally charged a cancellation fee that never should have been applied in the first place. We cancelled our rooms within 24 hours using the Marriott app. Yet thy still charged us. What made matters worse was the complete lack of accountability from management. Tim, the GM, ignored multiple phone calls and never bothered to return them or attempt to fix the situation.
Instead of resolving a simple mistake, one account were forced to escalate the issue to corporate just to get his refund. That level of negligence and poor customer service is unacceptable. If management refuses to communicate or correct their own errors, it says a lot about how this business operates. I am waiting to see if management will take accountability for their actions before I go the corporate route.
I had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
At check-in, I was given a room where the beds were not made and the room was clearly not cleaned. I went back to the front desk and was reassigned another room. Unfortunately, the second room was also unmade, with a filthy bathroom and obvious lack of housekeeping.
I returned to the desk again and was given a third room. While the beds were made, the bathroom and shower were still dirty. At that point, I was exhausted and had no choice but to stay — and ended up leaving the hotel to buy cleaning supplies and clean the bathroom myself. That should never happen at a hotel.
The front desk staff showed little concern throughout this entire process. I have since left multiple voicemails for the General Manager and messages with the front desk, and no one has returned my calls. The only contact was a Sales Manager who said she would pass the issue along.
To make matters worse, the $20 incidental fee has still not been refunded — which is frustrating considering I had to clean my own room.
I have photos and videos documenting everything. This experience reflects serious housekeeping and management issues. I would not recommend staying here until these problems are addressed.
I recently stayed at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Savannah Airport in Pooler, Georgia (on the east side of I-95). It was a solid choice for a single night stay. It was easy to access right off Interstate 95. Most traffic southbound was turing to the right where most of the shops on this exit are. This is a left-hand turn with virtually no traffic. Making it a win from the start. It's on the quieter, less busy side of the I-95/Airways Avenue intersection, which kept things peaceful despite the highway proximity. The property felt relatively new and well-maintained, with a fresh, modern vibe. Check-in was very easy and quick. The staff was friendly, efficient, and welcoming. Prices were reasonable for the quality and location. It's conveniently across the street from a gas station and a couple of restaurants (including a Waffle house!). This makes it great if you want to grab a quick bite or fuel without venturing far. My only minor challenge was the complimentary breakfast; the area didn't open early enough for my schedule (I believe it started at 7 AM, which might be fine for most but not for early departures). Overall, this is a pretty nice hotel offering great value, convenience, and quality in the Pooler/Savannah area. I'd definitely stay again for its location and comfort.
Clean hotel in a good location. Staff not very friendly. Comfortable room, but hardly any counter space in the bathroom.
While driving south and needing a hotel for one night I did a quick search of the Marriott website. There are many hotels in this immediate area. We arrived late and will be leaving early so I picked the least expensive option. It was a great choice. The front desk staff were welcoming and very helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable and updated. Parking was free and spots available. Will definitely be back!
Hot tub is out and will never work again. Was told it was working. Also Internet and prime TV stations not working. Breakfast was average at best, coffee was horrible. Staff was great though and it was very clean. Would not recommend staying here.
The staff was very friendly, offering to drop us off, and pick up at nearby restaurant. We also used airport shuttle which was as a quick drive. The room was spacious and comfortable. We’d definitely stay again.
From the shuttle pickup to checkout, service, staff & accommodations were over the top. This will be my first choice anytime I land in Savannah!
Comvenient to airport. Very quiet.
I was charged my deposit for something that didn't occur. When called to explain the management went by what housekeeping said. I lost money so I will never stay at another Stay bridge Suites.
Very nice room with lots of space including small kitchen, sitting area, separate bath/shower
Welcoming and friendly staff!
My flight was delayed several hours so I called ahead and the lady I spoke with was super nice. When I arrived to check in at four in the morning the lady at the front desk was quick and efficient. Breakfast service was good, room was clean and quiet.
Location was very convenient and the hotel was really nice. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Mostly the facility was run and appeared very good. The employee at the check in desk was very pleasant and helpful. The female day manager was dismissive when notified of an issue (lack of visibility in the bathroom at night leading to an ER visit) and presented with a solution (adding a nightlight). They are very lucky they will not be sued or their facility trashed on social media.
We drove from Orlando. Stayed in Pooler Ga because we moved grandaughter into college. Its just 42 mi to Statesboro yet less the cost and just off I 95 and I16. The Sam Sneads restaurant is fabulous. Very clean safe nice area.
Pleasant Staff, Clean and Spacious Rooms
Comfortable overnight stay.
Had a great experience at this newly renovated hotel. The staff were very friendly, and offered a shuttle service to and from the airport. I enjoyed eating their complimentary breakfast, as well as utilizing the 24 hour fitness center. The pressure and water temperature in the shower was perfect as well. With such a convenient spot close to the airport, Tanger Outlets, and dining options, I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again.
Staff was great! Loved the room! Very nice! Free shuttle to airport is great! Would always stay here when in this area!
