I have now stayed at the Wren twice. I love the rooms, the comfortable perks, like the bathrobe.
Pros:

It was great having coffee available early.

Cons:

The train noises woke me up, though I had stuff on my mind, so that was likely a bigger problem.

Perfect boutique hotel in the heart of Missoula
Pros:

This boutique like hotel is in a perfect location in the heart of Missoula. It's hard to say what I loved most, the cafe, the art, or the overall welcoming vibe combined with a beautifully appointed room plus outstandingly accommodating staff. I would highly recommend especially over big chain. The Wren has the best of both worlds.

Cons:

If you are noise sensitive ask for a room at the back of the hotel. I LOVED the melodic sounds from The Union bar and the street action, including some incredible street musicians. Personally, I did not have any thing I did not like during my stay.

Decent hotel
Pros:

Very comfortable room and friendly staff. They even gave us a tea kettle for the room with no charge. The interior decor was different as well with information on different types of fly fishing ties. You learn something new every day! We really liked the patio with the vegetation on the roof next to it. Parking was easy, and it was nice having options for food and amazing coffee right in the hotel. Right when you walk into the Lobby it smells like roasted coffee beans!!!

Cons:

Room 227 The door to the bathroom does not stay shut easily. You have to put it just in the right spot to keep it closed. And there's no latch on the inside to keep it closed. Other than that. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

A great place to stay if you are attending a concert at the Wilma or wanting to enjoy downtown Misso
Pros:

The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. It is in a great location for exploring downtown Missoula or attending a concert at the WIlma like we did. I liked the European style of hotel fittings.

Cons:

The stafff was very friendly but we didn't get any information on check in like the check out time and breakfast options etc. Just being told it is all on the QR code is a little impersonal and lazy. One of the lights in our bedroom was literally a flood light with an extension cord. That is not modern That is unfinished. We were lucky to tget an offseason rate. The summer rates are really high but that is the case for the whole town.
