Absolutely beautiful hotel in the heart of the city within 15 mins walk to Imperial Palace. Minutes away from the mall Coredo Muromachi with a huge selection of some of the best sushi I have ever tasted in Japan. Get the hotel concierge to book you in or go book in advance.
Hotel Rooms - the views are absolutely stunning and I sat on my chaise longue for hours working with that view to inspire me!
The Italian restaurant were really helpful with my non dairy diet and did me a fabulous meal.
All the staff were so friendly and helpful and couldnt do enough for me. Honestly their service was some of the best I have ever experienced.
Spa - really lovely to have those morning hours to chill here with those views..worth doing.
Check in - no-one told me at check in about the free spa opening hours from 0630-0900 until I had been down to the Spa myself and they kindly informed me there. please ensure you do mention this to guests on check in.
Stayed here 4 nights. The hotel gives a truly 5 star experience. The views of Tokyo from our room were amazing. The room itself was a perfect combination of luxury and functionality. The laundry service was great with a very clever return system. Breakfast was also excellent. The MO is in a great location, literally beside the subway. It’s 15 minutes to everywhere. It will definitely be our choice of stay when we return to this remarkable city.

The skyline view from the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo was amazing. I cannot wait to come back just to see it again. The lobby is on the 38th floor with panoramic views that you also experience from your room, the restaurants, and the pool (you must visit the pool to experience it). The location was excellent as was the service and housekeeping.
The breakfast buffet was very, very good. And this is coming from someone that doesn’t like breakfast or buffets. I highly recommend staying here.
Stunningly beautiful with truly exceptional service. Everyone we encountered was extremely kind and went out of their way to help us feel welcome. Early check in and late check out. Panoramic views from our room and from the restaurants. Food and drinks were top notch all around- breakfast, lunch and dinner. The spa area was great and very relaxing. One of the best hotel experiences we have had. Though we spent a lot of money, we felt we got good value for our money and we will do it again if and when are in Tokyo next.
It isn’t in the most exciting area of Tokyo, but it’s not a bad location either.
