Honestly, this was my first stay at Mandarin Oriental Tokyo, and it’s easily one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. We arrived super late because of a typhoon, but Duty Manager Tak Cheung made check-in a breeze with his great energy. He personally showed us to our room, and the crazy beautiful night view of the Tokyo Skytree immediately cheered us up. I also really appreciated how he went out of his way to introduce the fitness room facilities to me after knowing I wanted to work out. Super thoughtful!

The Guest Experience Team was also amazing during our 3 nights, especially Karen Hung. She found out we were celebrating a birthday and surprised us with a gorgeous cake and delicious snacks in the room—it was such a sweet gesture! Chatting with her was always so fun and easy. But the highlight was when we were leaving: Karen actually remembered us, came to say goodbye in person, and helped us sort out our taxi. It made us feel so cared for. Had the best time, took tons of great photos, and will definitely return!

From the moment we arrived, the service was flawless. Every staff member genuinely seemed interested in making our stay memorable. The rooms are beautifully appointed with spectacular views over Tokyo, and the attention to detail is exactly what you'd expect from the Mandarin Oriental brand.

Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo has officially stolen my heart. Every single aspect of our stay was impeccable, making it one of my absolute favorite hotels in the world.
The front office team sets a gold standard for hospitality. From the moment we arrived, different reception staff members took amazing care of us, delivering flawless, attentive service throughout our stay. We were also thrilled when they proactively upgraded our room—a gesture that made us feel incredibly valued right from the start.
The culinary experiences here are unmatched. We had the pleasure of dining at the world-famous Pizza Bar on 38th, and it absolutely lived up to its legendary reputation. We also tried the "New Trend" themed champagne free-flow at the Lounge, which was exceptionally curated and a delightful highlight of our trip.
Beyond the service and dining, the hotel's Spa is an urban oasis. The space is beautifully designed, incredibly serene, and provided the perfect tranquil escape from the bustling city.
I am deeply in love with this hotel. To the entire team at Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo: thank you for an unforgettable stay. We cannot wait to return!

This hotel was great, the staff, food, atmosphere, 10/10. There was so much to offer to really make you feel comfortable, whether it be the restaurants, the gym, spa, or more. For us, the Mandarin Bar really made this hotel exceptional. Yes, the food was amazing, but the service was unmatched. Saki was one of the best waiters my family has ever had, he was kind, generous, bubbly, attentive to detail, and did everything with such genuine care. He really made us feel at home, and talking to him felt so easy and comforting. So polite, and such good service, and overall made our trip 10x better.

Our family recently traveled from the United States to Tokyo, and staying at the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the hotel reflected the highest standards of luxury, elegance, and genuine hospitality.

While every aspect of our stay was wonderful, I would especially like to recognize Mr. Saki at the bar. He was truly the star of our experience. Although he is a bartender, he welcomed us with exceptional professionalism and warmth that immediately made us feel at home.

Saki’s passion for his craft was evident in every interaction. His storytelling, knowledge of the cocktails, and thoughtful guidance through the menu made each drink feel like a unique experience rather than just a beverage. Every cocktail was beautifully prepared, perfectly balanced, and presented with remarkable attention to detail. His hospitality went far beyond our expectations and left a lasting impression on our family.

As first-time visitors to the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo, we couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to the hotel. Thanks to the outstanding service especially from Saki we have already decided that we will return, hopefully during the winter season.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time here. We visited the Mandarin Bar, where Elvira went above and beyond. She noticed our preferences without us having to say much, and her thoughtful, attentive service really impressed us.

When it was time to leave, Wynne checked us out and was incredibly warm, friendly, and professional. She made our departure a great final touch to an already amazing stay.

My drinks at the Mandarin Bar was lovely - the lovely lady I think her name is Elvira, was so professional and hospitable. I very much recommend. The views are one of a kind.

MO is my favorite hotel brand and the Tokyo property lived up to the reputation completely.

This hotel is an example of: you pay a bit more, you get a bit more.

Lovely service at breakfast, nice staff at the front desk including a gentleman from Malaysia who went the extra mile for me.

Similarly a lady looking after us at dinner went out of her way to send a drink to my room that I really enjoyed. What a star, how thoughtful. The Tapas Molecular dinner is excellent, the chef and his assistant work so well together and I can’t get over how this restaurant doesn’t have any Michelin stars. It’s a massive oversight and a must do when in Tokyo.

We stayed at the MO Tokyo in March 2026 and it completely exceeded our expectations. The 360-degree views from the upper floors are mesmerizing, the rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed with a distinct Japanese touch, and the location right above the subway station made exploring the city incredibly easy.
