Decent stay in Fort Madison.....
Pros:

It was nice and quiet. No loud noises from other patrons. Ample parking. Nice large TV! And no hidden fees of any sort.

Cons:

Room could use a bit of tweaking. The shelf/hangar area for your clothing had one corner not completely anchored to the wall!

My room, several other families and 10 rooms for wrestlers were given away before our arrival. When we arrived to check in they said they had no rooms for us.

Lost multiple reservations - do NOT stay here
Pros:

Don’t ever stay here. Our athletic team had booked 10 rooms, and when we arrived, the manager told us there was no record of our reservation. We showed him our email confirmation with all the correct details, but he said there was nothing he could do.

We then found out that multiple parents’ rooms had also been canceled, along with reservations for another school group checking in the same night. How do you lose at least five reservations for the same date?

To make matters worse, one parent who did get a room reported a water leak in their room and had to leave.

Because of this mess, our entire team had to drive another 25 minutes to find a different hotel, pay more money, and end up with fewer hours of sleep before competition. This was completely unacceptable and caused unnecessary stress for our group.

Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere.

Terrible!
Pros:

Nothing at all

Cons:

Well when we got there they had given our room and multiple other people’s rooms away. And we were all forced to find other places to stay. When we had booked our rooms months in advance. And people that stayed there didn’t have a toilet in their room. The sink was broken. When the shower was turned off the whole spicket came out of the wall.
