Alberi del Paradiso

Absolutely wonderful stay at Alberi Paradiso. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, to the time we left, nothing was too much. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve had, especially the omelettes, and the fresh juices were a nice touch.
The hotel is a 10 minute walk down to the beach / centre, but maybe 20 mins on the way up; so maybe not ideal for those with limited mobility.
A special thanks to Matteo- he’s a credit to the hotel, so friendly and always greeted us with a smile. We will be back!

Wonderful hotel with excellence surroundings. The staff were amazing, including the lovely welcome from Valentina, Rosanna, Irene on reception. Also the restaurant staff, including Vincenzo, Marco and Ena who made us feel so special. Thank you to Sarah who kept our room spotless. A lovely stylish hotel set up the hill in Cefalu, boasting very good facilities and gorgeous grounds, full of hidden spots and lovingly maintained flowers and plants.

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful to us, they are informative, attentive and welcoming, and I’m learning that a laidback kind of warmth is the Sicilian way.

The breakfast options are excellent and the evening meal we had was very tasty, washed down with a bottle of Monteleone Etna Rossi, a lovely fruity, volcanic wine which we will be after when we get back to the UK.

The room is lovely and clean, with a sea view, good air con and a lovely walk in shower.

This gem of a place comes with our hearty recommendation.

Cefalu is an interesting spot. It is beautiful, featured on some TV shows, has both an historic center and a beachfront, etc. - as a result, has apparently has become a destination of choice for many British and other northern European tourists. It is an escape destination to warm weather and sunshine. Unfortunately, that results in hotels like the Alberi Del Paradiso catering to this clientele and it sucks any authenticity of place out of the experience. This is a nice property, well maintained, pretty views, pool, etc., even if the rooms are quite small. But, it feels like being on a cruise ship. There appear to be many tour operators that use this hotel - so be aware of what you will be joining if not part of that scene. As independent travelers, not somewhere we would return to. (Also, the restaurant is to be avoided for dinner - again, unless you are into the cruise ship vibe. The experience has nothing to do with Sicily.)

Booked 3 nights superior room with sea view. Room compact but had all the facilities and very well thought through. Comfortable bed. Some outside noise but never a problem. Good internet. Food excellent, including breakfast. Staff v friendly and go the extra mile. Hotel is on hill and satnav takes a challenging route, but there is alternative - ask reception. Free parking. 10 mins walk to town and rail station. We managed fine. Lovely pool area. Good value for money ;and would recommend.

Mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Fint hotell med trevlig poolområde, möjlighet att låna tennisbana gratis och god frukost. Mycket rymlig och tillgänglig privat parkering. Fantastisk utsikt över Cefalu. Sammanfattningsvis en trevlig hotellvistelse, som jag varmt rekommenderar.

Such a comfortablel and stylish hotel, we had a wonderful week here and we're sad to leave. The gardens and terraces are really beautiful, as are the views. The pool is especially lovely and was heated during our visit (late April) which was such a bonus and very hard to tear ourselves away from. Pool towels are provided too. The hotel is bright, immaculately maintained and spotlessly clean.

The location has a beautiful backdrop and is set on a hill (hence the lovely mountain and sea views views) and is only a 10 to 15 minute walk into old Cefalu via a local path and quite a lot of stairs. We are in our mid 60s and found the walk easy enough and enjoyed it, including the return journey back up the stairs, but there is an alternative but longer route or taxis if you need it. Our room and beds were really comfortable and bedlinen and towels were of good quality. We had breakfast every morning which was lovely too.

One of the star qualities of the hotel is the excellent staff. From reception, through to bar, restaurant, waiters, breakfast staff, housekeeping etc they were all unfailingly polite, friendly, helpful and welcoming. It really was superb service and customer care throughout and always with a smile. They were a pleasure to deal with. Special mention to Rosanna and Irene on reception who were superb. We had a wonderful holiday.

We could not have asked for a better experience at this hotel. We were greeted by Rosanna at the front desk who was absolutely lovely throughout our visit. The restaurant staff were a delight and you could tell that they were trained in how to make customers feel special! Vincenzo and Ina were truly wonderful. Exceptional food!

Amazing hospitality and friendly and helpful staff. Great location (we woke up to the sound of birds with a view of the sea). The food was exceptional - some of the best we've had in Italy. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff are really nice and friendly . Pool is in a lovely setting. Breakfast is great and the staff are very attentive and there's a wide selection.

Geheizter Außenpool im sehr schönem Garten war Anfang April in Betrieb mit bequemen Liegen.
Unser Zimmer vor 1 Jahr renoviert mit top Sanitäreinrichtung. Update Zimmer mit Meerblick mit schönem kleinen Balkon.
Sehr professionelles und zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir kamen spät an und haben im Restaurant um 21:40 Uhr noch a la carte essen können. Reichhaltiges Frühstück bis 10:30. Fußweg 20 Minuten bis Cefalu-Altstadt und knappe Stunde Autofahrt bis Palermo Innenstadt-Parkgarage.
