Estaba recogido entre vegetación y creaba un espacio increíble. Todo limpio, combinando la esencia de un hotel local con todo lo que esperas de una estancia de lujo. Personal increíble.
The staff was incredible. Mateo, Rosanna, Irene were all phenomenal. The pool was excellent and the location was perfection. The shuttle bus service was comfortable, reliable and very convenient.
I'd have liked more food options at the pool. The menu was a bit limited.
The hotel was lovely, super relaxing and a great breakfast and pool.
Without doubt though the best thing were the staff. They were always smiling and helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Thanks to Irene, Matteo and Chiara for such a lovely t holiday.
The were were some wasps around that were a little annoying but no big deal and didn’t seem to have any interest in humans or stinging. They just wanted ham 😀
My husband and I had traveled from Taormina to Cefalù for 2 nights and our experience with Alberi del Paradiso exceeding all expectations. The hotel staff was more than accommodating, having provided recommendations for activities and helping us with bookings such as dinner and wine tasting and even secured us shuttle services to their sister hotel, Le Calette. Breakfast at the hotel was lovely each morning and we had dinner at Al Capone on our last night which was perfection; food, wine selection and the staff were wonderful. We even enjoyed the hotel's spa services and had just an overall beautiful stay for our honeymoon-- would highly recommend to any guest!
We arrived early for a one-night stay in Cefalu and they checked us in immediately and gave us a room upgrade. We weren't there for an hour before deciding that we just HAD to stay an additional night. Fortunately, they could accommodate that as well!
The rooms was clean, quite, the bed comfortable; the food abundant, fresh, and very high quality. We also had an elegant dinner at their restaurant, Al Capone. All of the staff, Chiara, Rosario, Mateo, Vincenzo, Angelo, etc. were very gracious. Would definitely return as it was a memorable experience.
Mateo and Ariana were extraordinary in their helplessness and professionalism during my stay. Paradiso is my new favorite hotel in Cefalù.
This was not a bad hotel. It was simply overpriced, and has quite a few issues that would be easy to fix. We paid around $500 a night during shoulder season. This was by far the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our two week trip through Sicily, and was by far the least impressive. But the accommodation options in Cefalu are limited, so this is simply a matter of supply and demand, I suppose.
On the positive side, the staff were mostly helpful. They recommended a great restaurant for our last night and helped make a booking. The hotel is attractive and has nice landscaping and some rooms have great views.
On the negative side - well, there were plenty. As many of mentioned, it is quite a hike back from town or the beach. We decided to check out the "private beach." It is on the far end of the beach, and is clearly the "low rent" section, with rocks and seaweed, whereas the better beach is closer to town (no rocks or seaweed.) But worse than that - the "beach club" next door, which was closed, was blaring really obnoxious club music - with loud bass - even though nobody was there, except some random sleazy dude smoking a cigarette - who was clearly the guy blasting the music. I went to the life guard/caretaker for our "private beach" to complain about the obnoxious music. He said he couldn't hear it. (This must have been a lie). His buddy who he was busy chatting with obviously heard it, and went over to check it out, and confirmed the music was playing. However, the staff member told me there was nothing he could do about it. The reality was, there was nothing he wanted to do about it. We ended up leaving the beach, and I complained to the front desk person about this when we returned. They didn't seem concerned. The fact that the hotel wants you to lug beach towels back and forth to the beach, rather than supplying them at the beach, seems ridiculous as well. Strike 1.
The staff of Alberi del Paradiso, Matteo, Irene and Rosanna, were extremely helpful and accommodating, creating a relaxing and enjoyable trip for us in Cefalu. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again if the opportunity arises.
Breakfast was a good usual italian layout, nice pastrys. Up on the hill, nice view of catherdral and mountain
Do not follow google maps driving to the hotel, contact the hotel for recommendation on route.
We stayed here for two weeks on a Jet2 package and loved it. It's an attractive, comfortable, quiet hotel, and above all the staff are absolutely wonderful. On our first day, Matteo spent nearly an hour with us on the terrace answering all our questions about where to go, what to do, and organising car hire for us. All the reception staff were very professional, but kind and warm too -- lovely people (thanks Irene, Rosanna, Chiara, and in the restaurant Vincenzo & your wonderful team.) The cleaning staff too were lovely. We will always remember our time at Alberi Del Paradiso with great affection - happy times, great food, perfect relaxation, etc). Thank you xx
(A very small negative for some people: the hotel is set on a hill, about 20 minutes walk from the old town. We enjoyed the exercise, but others might not! Taxis are about 15 euros.)
Reichhaltiges und qualitativ hochwertiges Frühstück, hilfsbereites und überaus freundliches Personal, ausgezeichnetes Abendessen, Garten mit hoher Aufenthaltsqualität
Lovely hotel set in the hills above Cefalu. Our room was light, airy with a large jacuzzi bath and seperate shower. Towels always fresh, plenty of torage and a very comfortable bed.
Breakfast was plentiful, the restaurant staff were attentive and professional. The dinner option was delightful.
On the front desk Mateo, Rosanna and Vincenzo were charming, and attentive to all our needs, booking restaurants, finding train times etc.
A lovely place to stay
Two twin beds pushed together. If you are 6 feet tall your feet will hang over the bed.
Nice pool. Not heated. Overall pretty grounds but hotel is tired and not located in town, but up a hill. One mile walk to center city.
Overall would not recommend.
We were there for 2 nights.
Breakfast and evening meals were really tasty. Lots of choice for breakfast and it changed slightly each day to freshen things up. There was lots of choice on the evening meals with courses ranging between 20 to 30 euros.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating (both in the hotel and restaurant). The hotel is a 20min walk from the town and they provide directions. The hotel has its own private stretch of beach that it provides a shuttle to (5min walk from town so you can get that down and back). The beach has a lot of rocks and is not sandy. Loungers are provided but the facilties there are not great.
There is a sister hotel of which has a private ate beach on site and there is a free shuttle.to that. There is also a restaurant there which they can book for you.
The shower is really good.
We still believe the hotel is a fair price for what you get compared with others in that location and were happy we stayed there.
There is also free parking.
We visited in October, so the rooftop pool not being heated wasn't the best.
You can see the sea however from the hotel you can't see the old town or the beach around it.
The toilet and shower are in a glass box with the room. This is partially screened off from knee to shoulder height. This wasn't the most practical and really makes the room suitable for couples only.
The location is out of the main town which means it's not the most ideal dor going out in the evening for food.
