The tv and heater was not the best bearly worked
Location was great
I privately emailed the hotel and no response . So I’m now paste - copy the email to booking.com .
From the outset, the reception staff were unprofessional and unwelcoming. The carpet along the hallway leading to my room, as well as the stairs, was extremely dirty and covered in visible marks. This created a very poor first impression and did not meet the expected standards of a four-star hotel.Additionally, the laundry area was in an unacceptable condition. It was unhygienic and appeared neglected, which was quite concerning.
The environment felt more like a hostel or backpacker accommodation rather than a four-star establishment.
More critically, the condition of the room was appalling (room number 106 ) . The level of hygiene was unacceptable: the floor was covered in hair, there was visible dust throughout the room, and the overall cleanliness was severely neglected.
In addition, essential facilities were not functioning. The tap in the room was broken and unusable, and the mattress was in extremely poor condition, with springs protruding and making it impossible to rest comfortably.
I also paid for breakfast as part of my stay. However, after witnessing the manner in which the breakfast area and tables were being prepared, I was sufficiently concerned about hygiene that I refused to consume anything. I had no confidence that the food or environment met even basic cleanliness standards.
Great back up location our the hotel we were booked into shut and were told to find alternate accomodation. Location so convenient and could take a litetal last minute booking. Unfortunately no window in our room. Staff were amazing and so friendly and accomodating. If just looking for somewhere to sleep is great.
No window, very comfy bed. Great staff and took a last minute booking.
We had a previous booking at another hotel but were told to find alternate accomodation as theg were going to clode
The staff were exceptional. It wasn't as loud as I thought it would be right near the tram stop, I barely heard a thing. Room was clean and comfortable.
Probably just some little parts of the room were a bit dated. The bedroom and bathroom were great. The kitchen and the lounge area were comfortable but an older style. Could do with an update at some stage but completely functional.
Good location
Plumbing wasn’t great
Following a query, management were to respond. Nothing received
Staff at reception were very good and friendly. Great location of hotel.
Room 407 - Bathrooms were dirty around shower basins. Carpet had numerous stains on it and the pull out sofa bed had a blood like stain on the sheets. Hadn't been checked by housekeeping.
Clean and bed was comfortable
The outside noise was horrendous, from people swearing to someone Yacking up as if he was going to be sick, understandably this isn't the fault of the hotel, but if they had windows that sealed i wouldn't of been kept up all night.
location / price
Comfortable, great location
Cleanliness could be improved
Location was good
My room Had no Cold Water - Called reception to fix no one came to the room. Could not shower properly before going to my work meeting for the day. I addressed this with reception on the way out and no apology. I called again in the afternoon to follow up and was advised nothing could be done. Very un happy - you stay in a hotel to have a sleep and a shower.
