Stayed at this so called 5 star property a week ago my god everyone is so miserable spoke to a young lady
On check in who said senior management were pushing them beyond the norm
young girl in the restaurant said the same whole place has a terrible atmosphere about it Bullying and intimidation should be reported to Head office I shall certainly be sending off an email when I get
back to the States
They need to know
They do fire alarm testing in the morning weekly instead of the afternoon. Woke us all up and kids were terrified. Ruined the day and poor from the hotel
Amazing location. Historic building. Wonderful customer service from the Hotel Manager who I was lucky enough to meet!
Didn’t have a bath in room but shower was lovely!
I travel frequently, and would like to acknowledge the excellent service we received from Mr Soham on checking in. He was absolutely outstanding in giving us options, ensuring that we were taken care of, and following up with us to ensure everything was to our liking. The hotel is in a great location, the people were warm and friendly, and our stay was very enjoyable. Thank you very much.
The location of the hotel is really good especially if you visit the Southbank centre. It is a short walk away. The rooms with great amenities are very clean. The breakfast service is very considerate. The hotel is near the London eye, so expect some noise however. Thank you.
Yuri, the bell guy was phenomenal. Truly there to be of service and deserves a massive raise!!! He made the experience special.
Beautiful building, attentive staff greet and carry bags into the property. Rooms were beautiful and spacious.
Check-in time was 3pm, however we were left to wait until around 3.30pm. Usually this would not be such an inconvenience, however I was travelling with my sister who has stage 4 cancer and she was uncomfortable and tired. I made the hotel aware of this before we arrived, but it wasn’t taken into account. We were also placed in a room (408) that was really far from the lift- again, a long walk for someone with serious health conditions.
Title: Incredible Location, Beautiful Executive Lounge, But Service Fell Short
The Marriott County Hall has one of the best locations in London. Stepping outside to views of Big Ben, Parliament, and the London Eye never got old, and it made exploring the city incredibly easy.
One of the highlights of our stay was the Executive Lounge. During a very warm week in London, it became a welcome escape from the heat. The space is beautiful, comfortable, and offers some fantastic views. We also loved the complimentary breakfast served in the Library. The setting is stunning, and the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had during our trip.
Unfortunately, our room was a different story. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool, and it remained much warmer than we were comfortable with. We reported the issue and were told it would be looked into, but no one ever followed up with us or provided an update.
We had actually planned to stay here again later in our trip, but because of the room temperature issues and the lack of follow-through, we decided to cancel our return reservation and stay elsewhere.
As a Bonvoy status member, I wasn’t looking for anything special- just communication and attention to a problem that affected our stay. That was disappointing.
This hotel has so much going for it: an unbeatable location, beautiful historic spaces, an excellent Executive Lounge, and a wonderful breakfast. If management were more responsive to guest concerns, this would easily be one of my favorite hotels in London.
I misplaced my identification and both Soham and Omar went out of their way to help me to locate it! This was in addition to the outstanding service they and other employees have provided to our family, including Mohamed at the pool.
Excellent ambience, the location is perfect. The views to the Big Ben and London Eye are superb. Thanks to Gabriela on the reception desk who was amazing. Special thanks to the 6th floor cleaning personal. We enjoy a suite and the sleep was out of this world. the M Lounge was fabulous add on to our stay, have a great time thanks to Felipe, Justin and Emi, big thank to Felipe that was on point on his attention.
We have had a wonderful stay at the hotel and truly enjoyed every moment. The facilities are excellent, the location is perfect, and the overall atmosphere made our visit to London even more special.
A special thank you to Felipe in the M Lounge. He consistently provided outstanding service throughout our stay. He was attentive, professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. Felipe always made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.
The M Lounge was one of the highlights of our stay, and Felipe’s exceptional hospitality made the experience even better. Also his teammates Jestin and Emi. We are very grateful for his dedication and excellent customer service. Gabriela at reception was excellent too.
We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for a memorable stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. From check-in to check-out we were greeted with exceptional service. A special thank you to Yuri with the valet and bag service who went out of his way to help us with our luggage, even offering to take it from the room to the car and load it up for us. With a toddler in tow, this was such a gift.
The staff, call out to Ricardo who was courteous and helpful during our stay made it very pleasant in the Westminster Suite. The view was amazing and iconic getting to stay in a historic room. The staff made the difference in our trip from start to finish. We would recommend staying.
Peter who works in security went above and beyond, thank you.
Great hotel with a nice M club. Beautiful views of the river and big bend. Shout out to Yuri for providing outstanding service.
Our stay was both comfortable and memorable. We were delighted to have a beautiful family room overlooking the Thames, with a stunning view of Big Ben. We were traveling with our twin granddaughters to celebrate their 13th birthday, and the hotel made the occasion truly special.
The girls were surprised with balloons, a towel cake, sparkling juice, a British bear, and other thoughtful souvenirs. This gesture was completely unexpected and greatly appreciated. It went above and beyond anything we anticipated.
The room was exceptionally spacious and comfortable for all four of us, providing plenty of room to relax after busy days of sightseeing. Every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly, and eager to assist with directions and recommendations.
The hotel's location is perfect for exploring London, with many major attractions within easy walking distance. We would highly recommend this hotel to families visiting London and would gladly stay here again.
Thank you for helping make our family's celebration so special.
