Great value! Along with the bright, cheerful pictures of the property, this was the main reason we stayed here. We live in the valley and had planned to hike Mt. Tam early Thursday morning. We only needed the place for a good night's rest.
Since we needed some good rest before a long hike the next morning, I was hoping to be comfortable. Few things that made that impossible were the refrigerator was broken. I travel with specific foods due to a strict diet and that was a bummer. Furthermore, the lights kept going off and on. The motel is right next to the highway, therefore I heard cars all night long making it hard to stay asleep. The AC seemed to work to an extent, but my daughter and I both found the air inside quite stuffy and stale.
Love that the rooms are easy to get to. Love the garden area out back. The front door and back door of the room are neat.
The parking spaces are not assigned to the room number which would be convenient. The walls are super thin you can hear EVERYTHING next door. Some rooms are more outdated and in need of a touch up to be honest.
The room has been remodeled. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom and shower were clean and adequate
I had booked 4 months prior and asked for a room in the back of the Inn...i received an email stating that would be accomplished..but when I arrived we were given a room in the front...VERY CLOSE to the freeway. Breakfast is sparse
Very friendly, positive staff who seem to care about their workplace and each other. Clean tidy surroundings. Lovely places to sit in the garden in the shade under a tree in a hammock or a hanging egg chair. A nice breakfast-place to eat and chat, with generous amounts of breakfast supplies. Nice selection of teas. Free bottled water and granola bars. Nice front desk staff. Lovely surroundings with bird song and sightings. Some basic shops/eateries in walking distance.. Rooms at the back are quiet and away from the road. Nice communal spaces and water fountains. Nice pool. Family friendly. Big, big beds and large rooms.
Plastic grass! I prefer real grass even if it goes yellow. The rooms are a little drab and could use a redecoration. I am from the UK and I like a kettle - but no one seemed to know what one is. It's for boiling water for tea! Apart from that, I think it's very good value compared to other three star motels - and the friendly and kind staff make up for any other imperfections.
Convenient
Water was either too hot or too cold in the shower...no in between!🤨
All staff is so courteous and welcoming, the garden area is beautiful and we enjoyed the free breakfast.
The closeness to the highway easy to find.
The grounds
Overall nice stay
Update room some
beds were comfortable shower had plenty of pressure
tv did not work called front desk and they said someone would come down to look, but no one ever came for the two days we were there, room was right next to 101 highway, traffic noise kept us up all night especially big trucks, could not use the pool because they were setting up for wedding right in front of pool area, toco tuck for wedding decided to set up right outside our back door making tremendous noise
The garden/pool area is pretty.
The hot tub does not work, and they have no plan to fix it. There were bugs//spiders in the bathroom and shower. The toilet paper holder was broken. The bed was not adequate, but the sheets were pilling. The whole place was just generally run down. And to top it off, the morning staff on duty was visibly put off when we asked him if he’d refill one of the two empty coffee pots as part of the free breakfast.
Quiet even Friday and Saturday night. Nice big TV good parking staff very helpful yes I would stay here again.
Good beds.
Very Old rooms
I loved how the center courtyard had shaded seating areas and fire pits. Children can play. Felt restful and relaxing.
Spread out and allowed pets.
A little shady. Needs updating.
I like the front and back doors, this is cool as I can park in the back, then go through to the garden area, which is really nice and a good place to go and relax, or just hang out with friends!
They could do better with more breakfast items, like eggs and bacon/sausage so you don't have to go out to get some real breakfast. Also, they should consider getting someone in the closed restaurant, that would be great!
