Club Regina Los Cabos

we knew there were whales to see but couldn't believe how close they were.Every unit faces the Sea of Cortez. Also the staff was so helpful and polite. only negative was the amount of taxes you pay.

We were so lucky to go to this gorgeous resort during whale season. We saw whales everyday, plus rays jumping and dolphins. The resort has several pools to hang out at or beach too. The only draw back is it's too dangerous to swim, but gorgeous non the less.
Everyone who works there is outstanding! Iran at the desk got us an amazing room. He was so kind to us.
There are lots of activities to be apart of or just enjoy the views.
Highly recommend Club Regina.

I had a wonderful time everybody that works here is very friendly and Curtis’s and respectful Reyna pool concierge is very enjoyable we loved having her, she is very friendly we love having her around to talk to us Also Alan , Lucas and sabastian very good dancers and bar tenders all the bell boys are so sweet especially Alberto all the staff is awesome the pools and the view and the whales are awesome and the food is delicious the maids in the room are spot on every thing is clean and nice no complains

We had a fantastic time! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Reyna goes above and beyond her duties. The pools are clean and we'll maintained. The Adult pool with swim up bar is a must. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Inzio restaurant has delicious options and service is top notch. Our group would highly recommend Club Regina to anyone looking for a great vacation.

Within minutes of checking in, I was steered toward what was framed as a “welcome breakfast.” It was not a welcome breakfast. It was a Royal Holiday timeshare presentation operating on-site.

I was promised three incentives for attending-- 1 discounted activity, 1 discounted spa credit, and a 2400 peso dining voucher. I completed the full presentation in good faith and was physically issued the vouchers. Yurian, the representative who reviewed pricing with me, explicitly told me to collect vouchers for “all the things promised to you.”

Two days later, when I attempted to redeem the 2400 peso voucher at checkout, the sales office refused to honor it. The reasoning provided at redemption had never been disclosed during the presentation and directly contradicted what had been represented earlier.

Only at the moment of redemption did the terms change — and notably, this applied to the highest-value voucher. That sequence speaks for itself.

Hotel said they had no authority over the timeshare department. Royal Holiday claimed I was “no longer eligible” because I marked "single" but mentioned I had a boyfriend (note: not a husband), despite the voucher having already been issued. Royal Holiday corporate then stated they had no oversight of promotional incentives and redirected me to the hotel’s main phone number, without providing any direct contact for sales management (and despite me having explained all of the above, knowing that I would get the same runaround).

The result was a closed loop: incentives used to secure attendance, vouchers issued, redemption denied, and no accountability from anyone.

****Now, to separate this clearly — the hotel itself is gorgeous. The location is beautiful. I saw whales from my window, the pools were great, the shrimp tacos were excellent. Victor, Oliver, and Alan at the pool bar were fantastic, friendly, and so much fun. The front-line hotel staff were warm and professional throughout my stay. I highly recommend the hotel itself, and had no problems there. My issue is specifically with Royal Holiday + their bait and switch tactics ****

I would strongly advise declining the Royal Holiday presentation.

We stayed at the Hilton for a week then transferred to Club Regina for our 2nd week. Club Regina is hands down the more relaxing and has the best views. More of a classic Mexico vibe with less “Americanized” decor. You can’t get any closer to the whales unless you take a boat. You can’t whale watch from the pools or even your balcony. You can’t beat this.

Super friendly and helpful staff rooms need updating which they are doing slowly but location is great with fantastic views with the whales jumping. About half way between San Jose and San Lucas makes trips to town fairly easy

very poor maintenance of facility. Wanted us to pay more money with no upgrades. worst timeshare I have every been part of. The promises made were never keep. Now with a new owner. How did that happen when we are the one that paid for the property in the first place. So sad with such a beautiful setting.

Came with my friends that were celebrating 34 years of marriage. We had a fantastic time. We enjoyed all the pools, the restaurants and we’d never seen so much whale activity. We saw these from our balcony…no need to take a tour boat. I can’t wait to come back again. Excellent walking trails and if u don’t what to walk Edelberto well pick you up the cleaning lady was great Emma , and the boss lady ,Reyna pool concierge was helpful I had a great time

Reyna was awesome. She did a very good job. Enjoyed her company and the hotel is amazing. The views were fantastic and the food is awesome. I will be coming back again.

Jesus at the pool is a gem. All of the staff there is wonderful and helpful. You guys NEED MORE UMBRELLAS. Like enough for one every 2 seats. There is animosity and competition among the guests due to umbrella shortage which seems very easy to fix. And the staff has to spend time smoothing out the interactions it’s not fair to them. So in summary, Jesus great, staff great, umbrella shortage provided by resort A PROBLEM!

The resort is built on the side of a cliff so walking can be difficult if you do not walk well, there is shuttle service.
Our 1 bedroom was in great need of refurbishing. I have pictures but will not post them as there is no point. The dishwasher was filthy, the inside of microwave had rust on sides. The shower faucets need cleaning. Our second bathroom smelled like sewer after 2 days. We had to leave the door shut. We had 2 entrances to our unit which we found left open on 2 occasions. Our patio door would not lock. Couch was faded and looked dirty. There was only 1 restaurant to eat dinner at. Breakfast was not bad, you could get cooked eggs etc. made, no bacon only sausage. On their pasta night we were restricted to 2/3 other items if we didn’t want pasta. I had to argue for a salad which the chef was kind to make. There are 2 pools and a kids pool. Pools are only about 4 ft. Deep. Not enough umbrellas for chairs and not enough chairs for guests. Coffee shop in lobby serves good coffee selections if staff is there. Didn’t seem to work hours indicated. A lot of patios are not covered so it is extremely hot to sit out.
Staff were very nice and friendly.
Having said all the above I heard the resort has been bought by another company and over the next 2 years will be completely renovated. Until then I would never go back. They do not deserve their present star rating.

We keep coming back to Club Regina for a reason. Actually, for several reasons…

First, the location cannot be beat. You are literally right on the water, as in when you sip your coffee on your deck in the morning, you feel like you are on the prow of a boat. The water is practically underneath you, and the whales are jumping within easy view. Club Regina is also beautifully located in ‘the corridor’ of Los Cabos, only a short Uber or taxi ride to San Jose in one direction, and a slightly longer one to Cabo San Lucas in the other. Both within easy driving distance for a night out at the art walk, an incredible restaurant or a fun beach bar.

Second, the facilities are clean and well maintained, with a beautiful lobby. The buildings are a rich terra-cotta orange, accented in brilliant blues and hot pinks. It would be nice if they would finish updating the insides of the condos – some are done, but it seems that most have not changed in the 20 years we have been coming- but they are always very clean and comfortable. The lobby is open air with an incredible view over the entire resort, and a great bar with daily happy hour specials.

The best thing about Club Regina, however, is the quality of its many employees. Everyone is so welcoming and kind, from the golf cart drivers who take you everywhere to the bartenders at the swim up pool bars to the activities coordinators.

Special praise goes to Lucas, who has tended the adult pool bar for as long as I can remember and always makes us the best libations with a hug and a smile! This year, we also grew to love Sebastian, who is as fabulous leading daily yoga in the beautiful ravine as he is doing aqua Zumba in the pool every afternoon. So much fun!

We will continue to come to Club Regina for many years, as it feels like our home away from home…in paradise.

The positive thing first amazing view.
Service was average in the restaurant.
Bell hop and transportation hit and miss most of the time they either forgot to pick you up from your room or they forgot to have your car up front for you.
Reported leaking shower door 8 here and know one showed up to fix it and the liking shower head. Now the worsted we were invited get a tour of the property and buffet breakfast and then a presentation on joining their membership. Buffet looked like it had been put out at 7 am and we were there at 11 am oh by the way called to get picked up at 10:30 and ended up walking up to front desk to be ready for our 11 am appointment. Had breakfast then taken to see show place was nicer than what we were staying in. Told the place was just bought and was going to get a 30 million updated. Never got shown anything else on the property was taken to do the sale pitch. Started of with attitude that we were not going to join should use the worst and most expensive way to join. When trying to show us all of the services only one of us could see the laptop. Oh by the way it was suppose to be 90 min we were there for 2.5 hours. They pulled out what would have been the best option last and add things they forgot to mention. Later that day we road up with a couple who has had a membership for 10 year. They laughed when I mentioned about the 30 million dollar upgrades. There comment about the place a Chevy place with a Cadillac view. I would have to agree. Major problem with there pitch was they were talking to the wrong person about buying the deal.

It’s been amazing 7 days the service and the staff where great very attentive it’s hard to leave Reyna pool concierge Lucas , Miguel and activity guys Sebastian, Isaac, and the drivers Alex ,Benjamin,Carlos , everyone treated us like family And We enjoyed our drinks and lunches

We love coming to Regina; we do it every year. We keep coming back and we stay longer. Why ? Because people like Reyna, the pool concierge Alejandro , at the pool, the drivers Roberto , Juan , Jorge ,Gato , the best beach and views in cabo, the staff is wonderful, and the building and settings are magical, The spa and the massage ladies there are excellent and very kind. We can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful resort! Not a bad view from any room! Whale watching all day! Alberto M started as our amazing bar tender, quickly we became friends and then family by the end. He has an invite to the wedding! Jose and Rodrigo also took care of us daily for lunch. Many wonderful people on staff. We will see them again.

it was great to see the property again this year in great shape and the view was gorgeous in Winter (my first time there in January). Whales just off the shore every day, all the time made the view even more spectacular!

We have been coming to this resort since it was built in the 1990’s and love it every time we are here, from the wonderful friendly staff to the amazing views from the rooms. We come during whale watching season and have never been disappointed.
