Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and convenient.
The room itself was nice. The large bathroom and extra walk in closet was helpful. I appreciated the selection of weights in the workout room.
We requested adjoining rooms. When I called the hotel the morning of our arrival to confirm our reservation, I was told there was only 1 room on site that had adjoining rooms, so I requested to have rooms close together. We were granted that, but only because I advocated for our group. One of the rooms door lock needed to have the batteries changed. We needed to have our keys reactivated every day because they wouldn't work. The 1st day I mentioned it needed new batteries, but was told it was probably just that the key got too close to my phone. On our final day, after breakfast, we ended up being locked out again, and this time the front desk staff said they would use their master key to let us in. That also didn't work, and at that point I was told that there was no maintenance staff on site on the weekends. They literally left me stranded in the hallway. Thankfully my kids were able to go into the other room we had reserved while I was waiting. Maintenance finally showed up, and he too could not get the door to unlock. Again, I was just left in the hallway when he walked away without saying anything to me. I still had a key that was not working, so I tried it a few more times while I waited, and it finally unlocked. All to find out the issue was that the lock needed new batteries. The morning of check out, I checked my bank account and found that we had been double charged for the rooms. When I went to the front desk to address the situation, the staff entered a few things and said it would all be good. 15 minutes later, there was another charge to my bank account. Needless to say the last day really made our experience incredibly frustration and disappointing. Breakfast was okay, nothing fancy, but the typical free breakfast. The unfortunate part is that food was not always replenished, therefor we did not have many options. Our rooms both had light bulbs that needed to be replaced, and we did not have all the necessary bedding for the trundle bed.
Close to Notre Dame
Bathroom had no ADA compliance. Don’t all bathrooms require a grab bar? My mom could not get off the toilet. It was traumatic for her
I booked a double bed room, and when I checked in they gave my room away. The staff tried sending us to one room, and said “it may or may not be clean but if not just come down and get a different room”. It was an accessible room with only one bed. I came back down and they offered two single rooms or another room with one bed and a couch. I asked if the couch was a pull out sofa and they responded with “if you put the cushions on the ground it is”. Luckily they offered a discount, but the room was booked a month in advance.
Breakfast had little options
Add more items for break fast and timings extended until9:30 am est
The pleasant staff. Food could be more tasty and better choices.
Plenty of parking and convenient to Notre Dame
Breakfast could have been better
I will be returning this December for a stay. I like the convince to the turnpike.
The breakfast was wonderful and the pool and fitness areas were nice.
The Marriott card system was down so I had to download an application so I could use the mobile check-in. In the room the desk chair was broken, the refrigerator didn't work, and the electronic blinds wouldn't close. All of these issues were reported to the front desk so I hope they will be fixed for the next person who uses the room.
Good proximity to Notre Dame
Goede ervaring met Spring Hill Suites, grote schone kamers.
Ok
They were implementing a new computer system that made check in almost 30 minutes long.
Average rooms. Comfortable.
Upon check in TV’s on 4th floor not working. We were not informed of this after checking in and receiving keys. Poor communication. Conflicting reasons from management why the TVs not working. However, they moved us to 3rd floor and TV’s worked. Also the breakfast hours posted on the sign did not coincide with the correct times. On weekends breakfast supposed to be until 10am. However at 9 am, they were putting breakfast away. I observed with my own 2 eyes a worker in the pool area on her phone, when she was supposed to be working the front desk. The phone kept ringing at front desk with no one there to answer it. Also we way overpaid for the rooms, no one’s fault but mine. And the location was bad!
