O melhor Hotel de Sierra Nevada
Pros:

O facto de disponibilizarem um quarto de cortesia tanto quando chegámos cedo ao Hotel no dia de check in, permitindo-nos equipar para o ski como no dia do check-out, podendo tomar um duche às cinco da tarde antes de regressarmos da viagem. E também terem um shuttle de serviço para os clientes se deslocarem na estância para Restaurantes, etc.
Tudo isso sem custos extra. Muito simpático.

Cons:

No pequeno almoço a escolha de pão era muito limitada para um Hotel de cinco estrelas e a reposição de ingredientes por vezes demasiado demorada. Um dia esperei dez minutos para reporem bacon e “baked beans”.
O chão do quarto não estava impecavelmente aspirado. Havia bastante pó debaixo da cama.

Espectacular !!!
Pros:

Todo los detalles “pequeños” que marcan la diferencia!
Ej: Después de un largo día en la nieve, a la entrada en el hotel, desde el garaje…
Poder dejar el equipamiento y encontrarte con
El chocolate caliente y los dulces…
Una llamada a la puerta y un chico con una sonrisa y unas chocolatinas…
Abajo en la recepción, poder tomar un vasito de agua con un aperitivito…
No podemos olvidar un súper detallazo: el baño del garaje… poder disfrutarlo antes de salir de viaje, después de un día de esquiar y sin estar ya alojados en el hotel… ya que hemos hecho el checkout por la mañana… un baño como el de casa, con todo los detalles… no lo olvidaré!!!
Y sobre todo, la amabilidad que encontramos desde nada más entrar en el hotel, recepción, restaurante, bar etc
Nombres con lo que nos quedamos… Andrea, Gema, Johanna, el chico de recepción, el del bar y todos los demás!
La verdad que la amabilidad y el buen servicio son dignos de un 10!!!
Gracias por ofrecernos unos días inolvidables en su hotel!!!

We had a perfect stay
Pros:

The staff was amazing, excellent guidance for us as first time in Sierra Nevada. The massage at the spa was excellent, is was super professional. The ambience at the hotel was great. The indoor climate was good, it was clean. The transportation with the chair lift up hill or down to the square was a romantic, cozy addition. The breakfast was super.

I recently stayed at Vincci Selección Rumaykiyya (Feb 25–28.2026) and was deeply disappointed. Despite its five-star rating, the experience lacked the basic hospitality and quality expected at this price point.
• Dated Rooms: The Deluxe or Superior Double was dark with tiny windows and hasn’t been refurbished in years.
• Excessive Charges: The hotel "nickels and dimes" guests—charging for parking, daily spa access, and even basic drinking water (no complimentary water provided, even on arrival).
• Poor Dining: Both breakfast and dinner were underwhelming and overpriced; the quality simply does not match a luxury designation.
• Uninviting Service: Staff interactions felt uncomfortable and biased toward specific business "agreements" rather than guest satisfaction.

Improvements required but generally it is a good hotel
Pros:

The location is fantastic, next to a ski lift with front side overlooking soerra nevada mountains.
The building is rustic, old, renovated with style but could have been upgraded one level up, in terms of having a luxury. Interior design is great and the ambience is like real classy mountain lodges should have.

Cons:

Small spa for extra charge. Lack of creative ideas for extra level of luxury mandatory for maybe the best winter location in Spain. No outside jacuzzies, thermal pools, no heaters for romantic outside evenings... not enough rooms with spacious terraces.
Service was not efficient, accurate and experienced, so the trainings must be conducted on a higher level. We are talking about 5star hotel, who must have senior waiters, sommeliers etc. Smoking area also is mandatory for that level of hotel , like cigar lounge , wine cellar , etc.
Room inventory to be double checked as well in order next time a have the feeling of 5star hotel.
