I have stayed here before and love the location - staff always lovely,
The room was very poor, stained carper and torn curtains in the bedroom. The TV remote was faulty. Overall I thought it was shabby compared to previous stays in the same hotel. I also asked for 2 double/queen beds but the second bedroom had 2 single beds, which means that my booking was not properly considered.
Every thing
Liked it stay there every time in Adelaide
Excellent staff, easy check in, great room.
Although it's great to have secure parking $32 a night is a bit steep but did not put us off.
We had a lovely stay overall and really appreciated being upgraded to a larger apartment than we had booked. The extra space was great, and having two bathrooms was very handy. The apartment was clean and tidy, and we loved being able to look out over Glenelg from the balcony. The accommodation itself was lovely, clean and in a great location.
The TV setup did feel noticeably outdated by current standards. I understand updating every room in an apartment complex would be a big expense, but having no smart TV or streaming option at all felt a bit behind what most guests would probably expect now. There was a Blu-ray player, Foxtel box and sound system, but no way to use Netflix or other streaming apps, despite the Foxtel remote having a Netflix button. I would recommend bringing a media device to plug into HDMI if you like to watch your own shows while winding down.
The main downside was the shower. I’m not sure whether it was due to being on a higher floor or just bad timing with the hot water, but even with the tap turned all the way to hot, the water was only lukewarm. The shower itself was not very enjoyable, which was a shame.
Parking access was also a little confusing at first. The instructions do explain that parking is accessed from the one-way street behind the apartments, but this could probably be made more obvious or highlighted in the check-in information.
The room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable and the water pressure and temperature in the shower was amazing. The location made it great for kids with playgrounds and the Beach House just across the road.
Location and price
Signage to find entrance could have been better.
Toilet smelt when not used.
TV was too old and instructions not clear.
Parking costs far too high for long stays.
We arrived early in the morning to drop our luggage before check-in. Pablo at reception was extremely helpful and upgraded us to an apartment that was already cleaned which we could access immediately. It was on the 11th floor with an amazing 180 view facing east. It was very clean and spacious with a long balcony. Location is great. Unfortunately roadworks stopped the Glenelg tram at Brighton Rd so our plans to use this frequently changed and we kept our rental car.
Unfortunately renovations were happening in the unit immediately above us which were noisy and spoilt it during day hours.
Location and general amenities were very good, with many eating options in close proximity. The unit itself was well equipped, with good views and was very clean.
All good, the unit met our expectations in every regard.
Location
Great location, spacious room. Nice staff
The spa was not hot and the foxtel did not work. When I informed the staff of the foxtel, it seemed like they already knew it.
