Playa Park Zensation

We really enjoyed our stay at Playa Park Zensation. 3 of us stayed in a junior suite which was super clean and modern and all the essentials you need. They set up the sofa bed in the front room which made it like a two bed apartment which was perfect. Both the bed and the sofa bed were super comfortable, we all slept so well during our stay. We had a slight issue with a leak in the bathroom ceiling but within 5-10 minutes of reporting it, the maintenance team came in and sorted it followed by cleaner, super efficient and no hassle at all. The cleaners came in every day and did a wonderful job, the beds were all laid beautifully each day and fresh towels too. We requested additional toilet rolls and again they were delivered so quickly.

Check-in was so slick, scanned a QR code, filled in a form, got wristbands and handed a bag of snacks and water each which was so welcomed as we arrived at 11pm. Loved the fact that the room key was on each wristband so no worries about carrying around a key and everyone could access when they wanted to.

The hotel staff were super helpful, my daughter has coeliac disease and they were so accommodating. They explained what was gluten free in the hot meal section and even cooked her a fresh chicken & chips to be safe (chips on the buffet not GF). She could also pre-order a gluten free pizza or pasta via WhatsApp to the hotel, just had to specify what time she wanted it and the pizza arrived for her not long after and she said it was good.

The pool area is super clean and a really chilled and relaxing environment to be in. The pools are great, plenty of space for everyone. They aren’t heated but are actually quite warm.

A great shipping centre within 5 min walk with a supermarket but also some great restaurants. 15 mins into town/beach & about 25 mins walk to an even more special beach by the sand dunes.

Would definitely consider returning to this hotel.

Well we have been home now for three weeks and are missing this hotel. There were three of us a couple over 65 and a teenager of 17 and we all really enjoyed the experience. The one bedroom apartment we had was very spacious and cleaned every day. The apartment was on the ground floor which had a terrace complete with two sun beds and a table with four chairs. Also it was only about 15 feet from the pool so we didn’t have to fight to get a bed by the pool. The food was very good and did change daily so even if you’re a picky eater you would find something nice to eat. We did like the idea of getting your own drinks soft , wine & beer however the bars were very good. We would like to thank every member of staff for making our eleven night holiday so memorable. We would like to single out Gino because he is a great an all round entertainer but the way he interacted with our 17 year old daughter who has special needs was brilliant. Thank so much and who knows we could be visiting again in the near future.

Had a wonderful time at this fabulous hotel. It was our first visit and hopefully not our last! We stayed as AI in the newly renovated standard rooms with air con in the Zensation Block and overlooked the back including the hydro pool which was lovely and peaceful. We had a stocked mini bar, robes and slippers and after contacting reception by WhatsApp (a brilliant service) they informed us unlimited use of the roof top infinity pool and a free hour in the spa. The rooms were lovely and air con worked really well. Food was lovely and fresh and something for everyone. Well cooked too. The breakfasts were a real highlight including English sausages, hash browns and lovely warm pastries and croissants. The Mr Whippy machine went down a treat with my lot as well as the usual ice cream on offer. Desserts weren’t as varied as other hotels I’ve been to but still delicious! The newly renovated outdoor area is lovely with big comfy sofas and is shaded so great for sitting in at the end of the day with a couple of gins to cool off! The pools are very good, not the biggest and quite deep but never felt overcrowded. There is a seperate kids pool and a pool with a slide in too. We used the infinity pool area too which felt very exclusive with padded sun loungers but the pool up there is freezing. The real highlight was the staff at the hotel. Everyone from check in to check out was friendly and helpful and made you feel special. Gino and Jorge were fabulous and made the days and nights so much fun with lots of activities. I love aqua gym but it was only on 3 days out of the 7 so would love more of that! The lifeguards are very strict with no food/vaping round the pool and no inflatables though balls/ pool toys are allowed.
The evening entertainment was really good. Every night started with a mini disco, followed by Ginos bingo and quiz which we loved, a band or tribute act followed by karaoke, if you fancied something more sedate there was also live music in the outdoor bar area. In the sports bar they showed the work cup matches so we watched the final without having to wander out.
The hotel is reasonably close by to the beach and old town. It is walkable, we did it but the hotel will also organise a taxi for you.
We had a fantastic time at Playa Park Zensation and wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

We had a lovely time from the minute we arrived staff on reception welcomed us it was an easy quick check in we stayed in the Zensation suites in a superior room with a large balcony over looking the pool which was lovely the room was spotless was cleaned everyday with fresh towels our safe broke we called reception maintenance came straight away couldn't fix it so replaced it.
The food was lovely with a lovely relaxed atmosphere friendly staff who welcomed you into the restaurant.
The whole place has a very relaxed atmosphere and all the staff are just so lovely and friendly there is a small shopping complex across the road from the hotel which has a market on Thursdays and Sundays.
It's about a 20 minutes walk to the beach and into Corralejo.
Highly recommend this hotel if you want a chilled relaxed holiday.

We stayed here during the Easter holidays for a week as a family of 4 with a 5 and 7 year old. We were in one of the ground floor apartments which are nice and spacious.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The food was nice, the staff were nice and of course like all the others have said, Gino was the star of the show!
The weather was a bit rubbish whilst we were there so didn’t manage to utilise the lovely pools as much as we would have liked (they weren’t heated so a bit cold) but Gino and Sam kept the kids entertained with endless activities and game playing getting all the kids involved. There was a big modern entertainment space for the kids disco, quiz, bingo and entertainment every night.
There was rarely a wait at meal times and there was plenty of variety. The pizzas are also very good! The hotel didn’t feel overly busy at any time even though it was the school holidays.
There’s a nice little square with a supermarket just a 2 minute walk from the hotel which is nice to visit. They have a market there weekly.
I think the only room for improvement would be maybe an upgrade and /or clean of the play park and football and tennis facilities. I also went for an hour in the spa which also could do with a good scrub. The drinks menus are also confusing as there is different levels and even if you have the premium level you still have to pay for some drinks.
We would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

It was a very frustrating start to the holiday due to issues with room allocation after request for ground floor were not provided. Assistant Manager eventually sorted a suitable room. They were very helpful for rest of stay.
Food was good, (better last year though), a lot of the main menu meats and fish were in sauces and not a lot of choice otherwise. Desserts, fruit and ice-cream were available.
The lunchtime menu could've been better, very limited choice available especially if you have paid extra to go all-inclusive.
Breakfast was the best time to eat, plenty of variety.
If you upgrade to all-inclusive, ask what levels there are and check what is included before buying, so you know what you are getting for the different levels.
Hotel itself is very nice, 3 swimming pools, whirlpool, plenty of sun beds, pool bar and seating.

We stayed at playa park early July for two weeks a family of four adults .The hotel has recently been upgraded and the improvements are lovely .The atmosphere at this hotel is very special there is a fun relaxed vibe and there is alot of good quality entertainment both day and night .The hotel is really clean and the food is very good .A big thankyou to the amazing gino for making our holiday so special x also I would like to thank milen ammadu and Karen for there exceptional customer service all staff were great ! We can't wait to return to this hotel we have many amazing memories !

We stayed at Playa Park for ten nights. When giving the overall score for our stay I struggled as for me, I wanted to give it 4.5 stars!

The location is a 15 minute walk from the main strip but is close to the little shopping centre, where there is a Hyper Dino supermarket and other shops and restaurants.

There is a pleasant atmosphere around the hotel. The main pools are busier with lots of activities going on. The rooftop infinity pool is much quieter for anyone wanting more peace and quiet.

We had a room in the Zensation block which was on the ground floor with our terrace just a short walk from the children’s pool. This was nice as several days we stayed on our terrace rather than going to the rooftop pool.

Our room and the hotel in general is very clean. Our room was cleaned every day and staff were constantly brushing up the pool area, cleaning leaves from the trees.

We stayed half board plus. There was lots of choice for breakfast. My husband praised the sausages (he’s used to them not being up to standard in many European destinations but he reported that they were very good). My one criticism, if you call it that, was around the food for evening meals. I’m vegetarian and I struggled at times with the labelling. For example it would say ‘pizza’ but then it was difficult to see what the toppings were. Or Spring rolls with no further details. One day we ended up with tuna pizza. Don’t get me wrong, we never went hungry but some buffet restaurants abroad we have been to have had labels showing V for vegetarian so there was no doubt. There was always pizza, pasta, chips, salad but it would have been nice to have a veggie lasagne or cannelloni or something similar. We also could help ourselves to drinks which included water, beer, wine, sangria and soft drinks with meals.

I think for what we paid we felt we had a good value for our ten day stay. We throughly enjoyed our holiday which was during the World Cup and whilst it was disappointing to see England lose, the atmosphere in the hotel and in Corralejo in general when Spain won was fantastic and something we will remember forever!

Our experience has been amazing from the day we arrived. The entertainment duo Gino & George are excellent. Aqua gym and so many activities to keep us busy - with a spa to cool down. The food does the job but breakfast takes the win!! Can’t wait to come back.

Me and two of my friends stayed at this hotel for 10 days from 11th-21st July. We were really impressed overall, the pool area is very good, reserving sunbeds wasn’t an issue unless you got up late.

Gino was very entertaining during our stay. He’s very good at hosting the daytime activities and the evening ones, the daily bingo and quiz at 9pm every night was always fun.

We loved the spa, it has a sauna, steam room, a hot pool and a cold plunge and it was so relaxing and worth the money.

The food was good for all inclusive food and the self service drinks were nice. There was a decent variety each day.

The theatre bar for the entertainment was good, my only issue is sometimes the queuing for drinks in there took a while and only one person serving. The staff were good though, especially Samba and Adriana.

The room we had was very spacious and lovely and cool which was great after a day by the pool or beach.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to couples, families etc..

Amazing hotel, amazing staff. Great facilities and location. An abundance of activities and good vibe created by the staff. Very friendly and helpful staff. Some of the most attentive and personable staff I have met, in particular, Gino and Jorge provided guests with a welcoming and (extremely) fun atmosphere, Gino’s bingo / quiz / karaoke night is not one to be missed!

This was our 6th year staying at playa park and will unfortunately be our last, slowly gone downhill over the years. Food quality is not great and had issues with sunbeds that we have never experienced here before. Staff are all excellent but it’s time to for us to try somewhere different
