Pros:

The location was great. The bar was great.

Cons:

You could hear everyone up all night in the hallways and the doors slam shut which is very loud. The bathroom was dirty as well. Not very friendly staff and you have to pay to park your car in the back parking lot.

Exceeded expectations - hope they keep it like this!
Pros:

I've noticed that accommodations in the US are getting worse every day in terms of building maintenance, furniture quality, cleanliness, amenities, and breakfast. My family works in the hotel industry in another country, so I know what I'm talking about. This hotel seemed to follow international standards rather than local ones, and it looked recently renovated, which pleasantly surprised me. The restaurant attached to the hotel is amazing. Great parking service (previous reviews said it was difficult/confusing: it is not!). And it has a decent fitness center with a Peloton bike.

Cons:

Housekeeping service is only available on alternate days (hey, at least they have it and do not charge extra). The heater/AC in our room was a bit too loud.
