Pros:

Amanda, who greeted me was fantastic! So helpful, thoughtful and cheerful.

Cons:

Nothing, accept the heating units in the room were hard to navigate.

Overall decent stay
Pros:

The staff were all wonderful.

Cons:

Parking was non-existent and we could hear everyone in the hallway as if our door was open. Made me feel bad for whoever was next to us when my toddler decided he was not sleeping.

Clean, Comfortable, Great Staff, Close to everything Downtown.
Pros:

Great valet staff. The valet asked when we would be checking out in the morning and had our car right up front, ready to load up and leave. Check in was quick and easy, as was check out. Room was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Bonus for the restaurant in the hotel, DB Brasserie, good food and great service. Had a ressie at the bar and our spot was ready when we walked in.

Adequate if you need to stay downtown but dirty with poor service
Pros:

The room was dirty with hair on the counter and murky, damp carpet. When I called the front desk to ask for a couple more towels, I was told that there was nobody available to bring them up to our room, and they asked if I could come down and get them. Then, when I went down to the front desk, there was nobody there. In the morning, I went down to grab a cup of coffee, and all of the dispensers were empty. The breakfast was your basic continental fair, but the eggs were reconstituted , watery and cold. All that being said, it was a great location, and it had a great view of downtown Albany.

Best downtown HQ for an event at Empire Live.
Pros:

Location, room, cleanliness, safety. Hilton/Hampton affiliation.

Cons:

Needing a room key to operate the elevator is inconvenient. I also think it's greedy to charge for parking, especially when they have a large lot. TV remote control was hard to operate.

Pros:

Loved the breakfast. It exceeded expectations relative to other free hotel breakfast buffets. Staff was helpful and attentive.

Cons:

Rooms, elevators, hallways were very run down and dingy. We had very loud neighbors next door. We complained several times about the noise after 10 pm.
