Lovely location and staff we're great, last minute price was more than fair
Great location on the front, tidy rooms and friendly staff
Good location
Pretty old and run down, breakfast was not great the sausages i doubt they had any meat in them.
The gardens were beautifully manicured and the outside of the building was painted and very smart looking .The staff member on the desk was very friendly
The room was very shabby .Only one bedside table as no room ,two of the three windows were painted closed .We were told not to wedge the other one open too wide as the seagulls would come in but it was stifling and there was no fan .Chairs in room and dressing table also shabby .Paint was coming off the tiles in bathroom and there was paint staining the floor .It also wasn’t the room we were shown a photo of on booking
We loved the room , it was a last minute booking and got a room with a Sea view , the Dining room looked beautiful but did get a chance to experience it .
Unfortunately we didn't have breakfast as hadn't realised we had to book when booking the room , there was no option to have breakfast because as we checked in we were informed that the dining room was fully booked so the chance of breakfast or evening meal was unavailable.
It was a shame as it would have made our stay more enjoyable as it was as a treat for my wife's birthday.
We would consider staying again in the future , but will make sure dining options are available to paying guests before booking
Clean rooms
Not enough parking
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Hotel is quite dated.
Great location on the sea front, lovely building & beautiful spacious double room with bay windows facing the sea.
Spotlessly clean, beds were super comfortable, staff were lovely, facilities were great too. Food was really tasty. Everything reasonably priced. The views from room 106 were absolutely stunning! The staff can’t do more to make you feel welcome and the lift was a real bonus which we were grateful for! The grounds are very well maintained and welcoming!
The three course meal was absolutely lovely and a great price, but courses were brought out one after the other, super fast! There was no time to rest between courses which left us uncomfortably full. Also room 106 the beds headboard was against a wall which was the next rooms bathroom/shower! We got woken up at just after 7am with our neighbours in the shower for ten mins each. It was that loud that we could even hear the water drips after they finally turned the shower off!! These were the only things that put us off. If we were to return I would ring ahead and ask for a different room.
Everything was good
Shower was to cold
Location and free parking
Bar closed and cold shower
Manager and staff excellent service .
They hired me a mobility scotter which was perfect for the day, even though we checked out at 10 we were able to leave our car on the car park and still use scooter until we left our trip.
Short walk into town about 15 min.
Entertainment and bingo at night but that might have been because it had a coach trip there.
All in all good value for money
Rooms are very clean but a bit dated.
Thats only negative really.
