Disappointing. I do not recommend this hotel!

The facilities are ok.

Cons:

We stayed at this hotel for two nights while attending a wedding in Fez. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointing experience.

1. Laundry service issue

I specifically requested a full laundry service and was told my suit would be ready by 6:00 PM. At 6:00 PM, it wasn’t ready. I followed up again at 7:00 PM, and still nothing. I eventually had to go to the reception myself and wait another 15 minutes before receiving my suit and shirt at 8:00 PM. By then, we were already late for our event.

The biggest issue, however, was that the suit had not actually been cleaned. It still smelled and showed no signs of having been washed. It appeared that they had only ironed it in a hurry. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, the staff insisted that the suit had been properly cleaned.

2. Lost sunglasses

I lost my sunglasses in the parking area after they were apparently left on top of the car. Despite the hotel having cameras covering the parking lot, they were unable to help locate them.

Overall, this was far below the level of service I would expect from a hotel of this standard.

Ist okay aber kein 5-Sterne-Standard
Pros:

Hotel ist Standard und nicht in der 5-Sterne-Klasse sonstiger großer Mariott-Hotels. Darüber kann auch die hübsche Möbelierung der Lobby nicht hinwegtäuschen. Denn der Service insgesamt ist enttäuschend: Wenn livrierte Mitarbeiter nur Dekoration sind z.B. stehen vor einer automatisch öffnenden Tür oder sie stehen neben einer Kuckentheke und kennen noch nicht einmal die Geschmacksrichtung der darin ausgestellten 5 Kuchenstücke ? Niemand reicht ein Wasser oder einen Tee, wenn man das Hotel betritt, das gibt es nur einmalig nach dem Check-In!! Im gesamten Hotel nicht ein einziger Wasserspender !!! Auf dem Concierge-Desk eine Teekanne aber keine Gläser dazu... Das Zimmer war okay und sauber, für den Preis aber auch absolut zu erwarten.

Cons:

Der Pool: Laute Beschallung mit ständig unterbrochenen Musikstücken. Das Personal an der Pool-Bar daddelt ständig auf dem Handy und wechselt die Songs mittendrin, denn: "wir machen die Musik für die Kinder".
Die Speisekarte im marokkanischen Restaurant ist missverständlich: Lamb Brains, Veal Liver 40 DH. Ich hatte es so verstanden, dass eine kleine Portion Hirn und eine kleine Portion Leber als 1 Vorspeisen-Teller gebracht wird. Stattdessen kamen zwei anständige Portionen und der Tisch krümmte sich unter allen Vorspeisen. Da fehlte das Wörtchen "or" und mir bei der Bestellung wohl das Hirn. Leider war der Kellner auch keine Hilfe, denn er sprach nur fließend marokkanisch. Insgesamt ein Hotel ohne Charme und Atmosphäre, leider auch ohne den sonst üblichen Service und die Freundlichkeit. Nur für 1 Übernachtung zu empfehlen.

بالنسبه للغرف و كانه المفروشات لها 50 سنه ما تغيرت و تعامل موضفات خدمة الغرف جدااا سيئه و غير لبقات في الكلام بالنسبه للاستقبال كان التواصل معهم جدا صعب و بعد الرد يجب الانتضار 4 ساعات للتجاوب مع متطلباتك للاسف كانت تجربه سيءه لن تتكرر

What an absolute gem!
Pros:

Absolute GEM! A long overdue review from February. What an amazing resort and a lovely stop during our holidays to Morocco. From the front office staff to every single outlet, they were absolutely amazing. The resort - you can just spend days here and never get tired of it. A beautiful, large outdoor pool, a spacious gym, saunas, a small piano space, beautiful art pieces and exhibits, a stunning bar with the finest whiskey and cigars and their restaurants too were amazing. The rooms are beautifully laid out with a lovely little balcony overlooking the gardens where you can just read a good book. I’d definitely revisit if I ever had the chance!

This hotel deserves 10+ out of 10 points in every respect - except for the General Manager!
Pros:

Incredibly friendly staff, exceptional facilities; Fantastic breakfast with a huge selection; Rooms are excellently equipped and spacious even for a traveling family. Beautiful and fragrant green space; Sprawling pool complex.

Je séjourne régulièrement dans des hôtels Marriott dans le monde, mais celui de Fès est de très loin la pire expérience que j’ai eue de toute ma vie.

❌ Propreté totalement inacceptable
Les transats au bord de la piscine sont sales, avec des traces visibles. Et malgré ça, on vous donne une seule serviette, alors que les transats sont déjà sales.

Concernant la chambre :
J’ai fait tomber du fond de teint par terre dans la salle de bain. Lors du ménage, la femme de chambre n’a absolument pas nettoyé correctement. Elle a simplement passé un aspirateur ou un balayage rapide, mais aucune serpillière alors que du fond de teint MARRON était visible.
En revenant, le sol était marron et sale, ce qui est inadmissible
➡️ Clairement, le ménage n’est pas fait correctement.

❌ Équipements défectueux
Le système pour insérer la carte afin d’avoir l’électricité :
- était cassé
- mal fixé au mur
- ne fonctionnait pas correctement (disjonctions)
➡️ Ce n’est ni sécurisant ni digne d’un 5 étoiles.

❌ Service incohérent et incomplet
Nous étions 2 (moi et ma fille)
- La femme de ménage laissait 1 seule serviette
- Je ne comprends pas comment cela est possible dans un hôtel de ce standing.

❌ Réservation non respectée
Lors de ma réservation, j’avais demandé :
un étage élevé
une vue sur la piscine
➡️ Résultat :
- chambre au premier étage
- vue partielle de la piscine
➡️ Donc exactement l’inverse de ce que j’avais demandé.

❌ Nuisances + gestion catastrophique
Première nuit : voisins extrêmement bruyants dès 07h00 du matin
Ensuite : bruits très forts au-dessus de moi dès 08h00, comme des meubles déplacés

➡️ Impossible de se reposer.
