We stayed here at the end of a cruise on the danube. We were a little surprised at the noise on arrival - apparently there was a christening celebration going on (not sure the baby would have got much sleep!!!) Having said that the room was very comfortable and the shower excellent.
A good bufffet breakfast was available. Staff good.
Great location best service specially Mrs Gabriela at breakfast service always smily and interactive with guests.

Our stay at InterContinental Athénée Palace Bucharest was excellent, and a special mention goes to Mr. Cătălin from the Club Lounge.
From the first day until our departure, he consistently impressed us with his professionalism, courtesy, and genuine care for guests. He was always attentive, welcoming, and ready to assist with any request, making us feel truly appreciated and at home.
What sets Cătălin apart is his remarkable combination of efficiency and warmth. He anticipates guests' needs, pays attention to the smallest details, and delivers service with a smile and a positive attitude. His dedication and commitment to excellence significantly enhanced our experience at the hotel.

Really good hotel. Catalin, in the club lounge, has been amazing: very nice and friendly, goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience.
Am solicitat ajutor la plecare pentru bagaje ( stiam ca au acest serviciu iar bagajele erau prea multe) si am fost nevoit sa apelez receptia de 3 ori in decurs de o ora. Cea de la receptie ar trebui sa mai participe la niste cursuri in domeniul hotelier pentru ca habar nu avea pe ce lume traieste. O atitudine efectiv robotica . Abia a treia oara cand am apelat receptia si am ridicat tonul la toanta, a trimis pe cineva sa duca bagajele in receptie. Si asta dupa fix dupa jumatate de ora in care am asteptat in camera, la indicatiile celei de la receptie.
La sosire, am parcat in fata hotelului pentru a descarca bagajele din masina , moment in care efectiv am fost alungat de unul dintre angajati pe motiv ca el asteapta autocare... Binenteles ca nu a venit niciun autocar pe intreaga perioada cat am asteptat la receptie sa ma cazez. Lipsa totala de respect din partea angajatilor. Deci mi s-a interzis efectiv sa scot , in cateva minute din masina, bagajele si sa le duc in receptie., apoi sa mut autoturismul .
Micul dejun comandat in camera nu a cuprins toate produsele pe care le continea meniul selectat pentru room service. Extrem de saracacios ,pe langa faptul ca lipseau produse, desi acestea erau mentionate clar in meniu.
Concluzia: Nu recomand acest hotel!
