Our stay at the InterContinental Bucharest was nothing short of wonderful. The food throughout our stay was absolutely amazing, and the views from the rooms are spectacular!

She takes the time to personally speak with guests, listens attentively, and deeply cares about both the guests and the overall quality of the hotel. Another major highlight was the Executive Club Lounge, which offers very nice indoor and outdoor seating to relax and unwind. The lounge staff is exceptionally professional, warm, and attentive. A special thank you to Catalin, Florian, and Andrea in the lounge—they know exactly how to take care of their guests and consistently go above and beyond to ensure every detail is perfect.
The spa manager and staff was amazing! We also thoroughly enjoyed the spa and wellness facilities—the relaxing treatments, indoor pool, Jacuzzi, and saunas made for the ultimate relaxing retreat after exploring the city!

I come to Bucharest quite often on business and InterContinental Athenee Palace is always my first choice, if the rooms within my travel limits are available. The hotel is beautifully renovated and has a fantastic location. Staff is very helpful, especially Catalin in Club Lounge, who seems to remember all guests by their name and habits. I truly enjoy espresso at the Cafe Athenee and will definitely be back again soon.

The breakfast buffet was generous, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to suit every taste. We also highly recommend the JORJ restaurant, where we enjoyed an excellent dining experience.

The property is in the historic Revolution Square, in the center of town. The location made it an easy walk to Old Town and most of the places we wanted to experience. The service was attentive from the time we arrived until the time we left. We really enjoyed the breakfast staff, especially Evelyne! She was fabulous. The late-night lounge was a wonderful space to unwind after a full day of sightseeing, complete with jazz music. The room was spacious, with a small terrace overlooking the square. Comfy beds and amenities. Beautifully designed with a dessert cafe. We really enjoyed our stay.

We have spent three days at the Intercontinental so far, and it is just exceptional. The ambiance, the rooms, the spa, the services, the food,. Everyone is lovely and great and in particular, we are really impressed with the friendliness, professionalism, and customer service of Katalin in the club lounge and Adina at reception, they both made a huge difference to our stay by making it incredible.
