Oaks are typically better than this.
Pros:

The staff were helpful.

Cons:

The room was tired and in need of some deep cleaning. The carpets and seating areas needed cleaning, and the bathroom had lots of mould and dirty grouting.

Large apartment with poor aircon

Very enjoyable! Service, location, and facilities! Excellent!
Pros:

Mr. Zeus the receptionist was particularly helpful and friendly. Going to our unit to check on our AC and also bringing up my delayed luggage when he could just have called me.

Cons:

Would have been better and gave me greater peace of mind if my unit (2202) had a bolt-lock on the door. As it didn't we had to improvise.

The new property Oakes on Margaret st were lovely but it was sub standard.
Pros:

I didn’t get to stay, they moved me to another property as they were overbooked and told me the were moving me because I wasn’t a corporate traveller.

Cons:

I selected the hotel for its location as ai was coming down for a concert to celebrate my 50th with my daughters. I was moved to a property further away than I wanted and as it was 24hrs out I couldn’t find an alternative to what they offered. Very poor service.

Loved it and would go back again for work trips most definitely
Pros:

We liked that we could stay somewhere which gave each of us the privacy necessary when travelling and working with a colleague. The staff were excellent; and Zeus especially was so helpful!

Cons:

Everything was great except maybe the location is a bit out of the way for us who like to shop.

Fantastic stay! Clean, close to everything, great parking available. Staff were awesome- friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Especially John and Zeus! Air con is amazing! The room had everything we needed for our two nights.Highly recommend. We will be back! Thanks 🙏🏾
