Myself and partner booked a 5 night stay from the end of October/beginning of November for my birthday.
Firstly the hotel is in a fantastic location, the old town was an 8 minute walk away, metro stops and bus stops within a few minutes, all tour meeting points also within a 10 minute walk. There's a pharmacy round the corner as well as a mini market 5 mins away, 35 mins from the airport (without traffic) and close to lots of food and drink options. We honestly couldn't have asked for more.
The staff were all lovely, check in was smooth and quick. Everything was explained to us in detail about the facilities. The absolute highlight from the staff/customer service was on arrival after our day out for my birthday we came back to a bottle of prosecco and two glasses, a really beautiful gesture!
The rooms themselves are nice enough, the bathroom was clean and the shower was good. The mirrors are also great, very handy to have the magnifying mirrors!! The shower door didn't really close properly so the floor got wet very quickly and there wasn't much ventilation so it got very foggy.
The beds were very comfy but they are two singles pushed together so it was a bit difficult to sleep in because one of us would dip into the gap! That said, the pillows are great!
In the room there is a desk, a small table, bedside table, two chairs plus a mini fridge with a full price list, there is also a Nespresso machine and a few complimentary bottles of water to use which is a lovely touch. It would be a good idea to have less items in the mini fridge so there is room for guests to add their own things.
The lighting wasn't great in the rooms but adequate, the TV worked well and a few channels in English too. The lifts are very small and take an AGE!!
All in all we loved our stay and would highly recommend the hotel to others.
Thank you again for such a wonderful birthday stay!
Great spot, cozy bar. Nice rooms
Great value for money. Bathroom was a bit small and room could do with more lighting. But for a few days it was perfect for what we needed
This hotel is in the center of everything. The room, the staff, the cleanliness, everything was perfect
Ok
It was great.
I booked Peakture Hotel as part of a 4-day package holiday and sadly the experience was so poor that I felt forced to check out early.
The issues began immediately: staff were consistently rude and dismissive, to the point where we felt completely unwelcome throughout our stay. The heating system in our room blew out nothing but cold air and dust, leaving the room freezing. When I asked for something as simple as a blanket, an extra duvet, or even additional pillows, all of these requests were refused. Instead, I was handed a mattress protector, which was both inappropriate and insulting.
The bathroom was mouldy, the bed so hard that I woke with numb hips, and I believe I was bitten during the night. Altogether, the experience was nowhere near the standard advertised.
When I raised my concerns, the service was just as unhelpful. Only as I was checking out did they offer to move me to a different room, but by then it was clear the underlying issue was the treatment we received and the lack of basic hospitality.
I followed up with a formal complaint to the hotel. Their response was a generic apology with no real acceptance of responsibility and no offer of resolution. It simply confirmed that they are unwilling to take ownership of guest experience or address failings properly.
I travel regularly and have never felt so unwelcome in a hotel. Sadly, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had – both in terms of facilities and service.
Room was nice and clean but dark.
Location is good
Mattress was uncomgortable at all.
Constantin from the bar was rude and very unpolite
This was a great place to stay - comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff were very helpful, and communication was clear and quick. I would definitely recommend staying here
Charming hotel across the street from University Square. Great location for taking day tours. Nice bar with friendly bartenders. Breakfast was beautiful in the dining room. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable.
Clean and comfortable room
Walkable to Old Town
The meal of veal and tomato soup were Amazing! Best Veal ever!
Central location and sites within easy walking distance
Good variety for breakfast. Egg, salmon, cold meats, cheese, fruit and yoghurt.
Good to have a balcony.
Close to city centre and metro stop
Everything was good: bed, bathroom, location. We searched but could not find any breakfast places nearby, so we ate in the hotel – and that was fine.
Great place that is centrally located. Very clean and friendly staff
Great service. Super friendly staff, especially Daniela at the reception and the girls from the breakfast service. I already rebooked my following stay.
Staff was very nice
Nice hotel, staffs friends. I just don’t like they have breakfast time different for weekend and weekday because I have day tour early and their breakfast on weekends start at 7 instead of 6:30 am on weekday.
The room we had was nice and clean for what we wanted it for.
Not a great view and overlooked in room 407. The Nespresso machine is a waste of time as you walk out of the hotel and there’s a much better coffee shop on the corner. Staff were friendly with no issues.
