Sapphire Course - Brutal
Pros:

We came here to play the Sapphire Course so comments apply only to that experience. Reception staff were helpful and friendly, and the club shop clean and tidy. However, it is worth noting that we tried to wash our hands after visiting the gents toilet but none of the taps worked. In hindsight, we should have taken that as an omen.
Out on the course, the state of disrepair was obvious. Tee boxes were worn, muddy, and uneven, and in most cases it felt like the tee box markers were positioned off the obvious target line to the fairways and greens. Due to poor trimming of trees, many tee shots needed a draw or a fade. You shouldn't be penalised for hitting a straight shot.
Fairways were in pretty good condition, but we found some distances questionable.
Greens were poor, and we found animal scrapings on many of the surfaces.
I think the course is best described as "target golf", but better tee boxes and better greens are required to make this enjoyable. I felt that the course was slightly overpriced for the condition.

Faulty Towers with London Prices
Pros:

The hotel is very dated with such expensive Food and beverage costs. I can’t explain how disappointed we were.

Main concerns were the cleanliness in the bedroom and bathroom

The management team of this hotel need to take a hard look at their management skills because for sure it’s failing.

Taking aside the hotel needing a refurbishment this does not stop poor cleaning standards
