Nice hotel but poor customer service at check in and check out
Pros:

Nice room, great restaurant on site for dinner.

Cons:

Upon arrival we were told we booked the cheapest room of an accissible room category with 2 double beds and were told we could upgrade to have a room with a balcony. It was a very clumsy and awkward sales pitch and it was our first visit to the property, we were not familiar with the layout or if a balcony would be worth extra money. Frankly, we should have either been upgraded for free or not pitched in such a poor way.
When checking out we got to reception and were told the bill (dinner and some cocktails) had already been processed on the card provided for the $0.01 security deposit as it was busy with guest checking out due to a wedding. . I didn't consent to havimg my card charged for this bill. I still haven't received the email with the detailed invoice and when we got to reception both staff were not busy. It wasn't bisy due to the wedding, 8 guests were having breakfast when we walked past the restaurant area.

Customer service at check in on 7 March around 4.30pm and check out at 10 am on 8 March was below standard and frankly unacceptable.

When we got to our room the bath towel in the front had make up finger marks on it and the overall bathroom wasn't very clean, very dusty, an open bar of soap wrap was on top of the small face towels by the sink. No soap bar to be seen. The only reason why we didn't complain was to avoid the staff at reception and because 2 more clean towels were on the beds.

Pros:

A lovely property with good variety of facilities and helpful staff.

Cons:

Some of the property areas appeared a little run down e.g. the veggie garden, litter lying around and the tennis court. Some other games such as yard games and pickle ball would be nice.
