The rooms were very nice and the size of the property.
Pool wasn’t heated as mentioned but that is understandable that it could have been forgotten to turn on. The animal enclosures were too small with too many chickens/turkeys in the enclosure. Need better animal welfare.
How close to the wedding venue it was and breakfast

We had such a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, every staff member was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made us feel right at home. The hotel was spotlessly clean and very well maintained, and the location was fantastic — close to all the beautiful vineyards and everything the Hunter Valley has to offer.
A lovely, comfortable stay with genuinely warm hospitality. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Room good size, extensive grounds, most staff courteous
In room phone not working, alternative mobile number had message that MessageBank was full so no possibility of room service. Walk to main building from annex with 40kph wind blowing! Staff unsympathetic on this issue to point of rudeness. Main restaurant buffet style very expensive.
Decor awful mix of original Sebel country manor and modern contemporary black & white. Generally has a somewhat run-down feel of somewhere that used to be a quality venue. Surprised at its star rating. Very poor value for money

Beautiful rooms with opening doors out onto a pretty balcony with a country view and very comfortable beds. Buffet breakfast and buffet dinner was plentiful and absolutely delicious.
