Breakfast and the spa were absolutely lovely. The room was nicely equipped and bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and parking was very easy.
I wouldn't recommend having dinner at the hotel as it didn't quite meet expectations. Our room was in the basement of the hotel so would have been nicer to stay on a higher floor.
The spa was lovely.
The room was horrible, it had an old musty smell. There was a dirty tissue left in my robe. There was a dirty towel in amongst clean towels. The furniture was old and falling apart.
Nothing to dislike with the Accomodation.
Booking.com need to try harder.
Spa is lovely
You have to book pool / thermal suite in advance , only get 2 hours and only one visit per stay per person. Fire alarm went off 7am and breakfast was awful
Early bird dinner was lovely, breakfast was good but nothing special, the usual standard buffet breakfast, although the fruit was hard and not very nice.
Some of the furniture in the bedrooms is a bit shabby, even though the rooms are fine and clean.
Nice location and great staff
Extra cost to use the swimming pool and sauna.
Room was clean and bed comfortable, very good choice for breakfast.
Thermal suite needs to be booked as it is busy.
Easy to get bus into Dublin City centre (1hr.)
We had a fantastic visit from arrival to departure. Staff friendly, nice rooms, good food, and the thermal suite was very relaxing. perfect hotel for our short break.
Excellent hotel good food rooms & spa well worth a visit. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. I can say we very much enjoyed our stay in Dunboyne Castle Hotel.
Amazing stay in the hotel and we're visit spa and facilities.
All staff were very helpful, professional and kind.
Beautiful room, located in quiet area.
Very relaxing spa facilities and I highly recommend spa treatments.
Thank you very much. We will definitely back again
The hotel was amazing — super clean, comfortable, and the atmosphere was really nice. The staff were all friendly and helpful. And Fidel… he’s sooo handsome, I was honestly blown away. I can’t wait to come back just to see him again hahahahah
We stayed two nights and it was lovely, rooms were clean and comfortable and room was cleaned daily with new towels etc. we ate in the Terrace Bar and the food was lovely especially the pulled pork burger. The sadlier bar was really cosy and there was music on the second night which was really enjoyable. All the staff we met were so so nice and nothing was an issue for them also. The spa was nice but I don't think the need to book it in advance and having to pay an extra 25 euro each on top of price of our stay was fair as it should be included in your stay but that was just something we felt as I'm sure it's done for a reason. We will definitely be back again it was lovely and relaxing.
Spa excellent. Room ok.
Food standard was very average.
We had a lovely time. Spa was great. The staff are so friendly and helpful, especially Niamh, she was so nice and very helpful . We will definitely go back.
We stayed in Dunboyne castle last weekend and had a lovely experience. The Spa was definitely the best part, lovely facilities and not too busy. We had lunch and dinner in the hotel, food was lovely both times. Location was ideal, staff were very friendly. We will definitely be back !
