Please note that if you are having treatments at The Spa, the use of our Thermal Suite is included for up to 90 minutes in your treatment price. Food in the lounge area was average
Food in the Ivy restaurant was good

Cons:

The spa is very shabby ... significant decline since our last visit.... lots of tiles missing in the pool and in some case sharp edges on tiled seating areas... the staff on duty at thevtime of our booking had not filled the water jugs in the spa meaning there was no cool water when you left the saunas/ steam rooms.... we stayed mid week and the bars downstairs did not open.... had to walk into town to watch the football....

Pros:

Quite and relaxing.

Cons:

Bar menu poor selection.
Breakfast terrible porrage dry and lumpy .No sausages or fried egg. Some of the food hot and some cold. Having to pay to go to thermal suite.

The reception and resturant areas. The spa area was lovely .

Cons:

The bedroom was so old fashioned. Needs a new bathroom. Dusty but comfortable bed. Onky one lamp and only one chair that looked so crusty.
