I cannot believe the hotel doesnt give water in the room. I have heart condtion and need to take my medication and no water in the room.
A bottle of water doesnt cost that much
I Went to the day spa and we had the midweek special deal. The spa was fab and sharon who did my facial and massage was amazing and so nice.
I had the pleasure of visiting Dunboyne recently and in particular thr beautiful spa. My therapist was Anne Marie and I had the Grounding massage. What can I say, relaxation at its finest! I had the best experience throughout; straight from a very warm welcome in reception to the best treatment, I'll definitely be back and can highly recommend this place!
Had the most relaxing time at the spa. Anne-Marie is the best therapist
The spa and thermal suite offers a most relaxing atmosphere and very professional staff.
Great location lovely rooms food fab. Staff very helpful excellent spa area so relaxing would highly recommend a visit. Excellent value for money 🤑
We stayed on the thermal tranquility package. Everything about our stay was excellent we were so relaxed leaving and have been recommending it to everyone. The package was brilliant value and we plan to book again. The thermal area is gorgeous, great facilities and so clean. Food in the terrace was amazing and our room was lovely, clean and cozy. The staff were absolutely excellent they were professional and so friendly across all areas of the hotel from reception, dining, housekeeping, and the spa. There was such a lovely atmosphere from the time we arrived which is a credit to the staff as it was clearly very busy with a wedding on the day we arrived but they were calm and friendly throughout. We have been to the terrace/ivy a few times before but never stayed. We had such a lovely experience it felt like a longer break away.
Gorgeous clean hotel, fab food and cocktails from the bar, lovely helpful staff who know what they are doing. Room was nice and clean but we got a old one but was still nice. Spa was lovely and clean not too crowed
I have regularly stayed in Dunboyne and each time I have had a wonderful experience. Extremely pleasant staff. The food is beautiful. I love the spa and the treatments. My husband and I go often and just avail of the thermal pools, we always leave feeling magic.
I decided to bring my cousin as it was her birthday. We arrived and had a lovely time in the thermal pools. I booked the package with light lunch. Everything went according to plan. After our lunch one of the staff brought a cake slice with a beautiful happy birthday on the plate for my cousin. She was so thrilled. I just thought wow, what a lovely personal touch. The customer service and attention to detail sets this hotel in my view apart form the rest. Thank you for a lovely day out.
Our room was for 3 of us. So spacious & a lovely big window on ground floor with fab view of grounds . Also the bar staff were particulary lovely & went out of their way us. Overall the place is so nice, relaxing & friendly staff. Spa is one of the best. Live tge outdoor tub.
recently enjoyed a massage treatment, thermal spa experience, and afternoon tea at Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa, and it was the perfect escape.
The massage was excellent—my therapist Sharon was professional, attentive, and made sure I felt completely relaxed throughout the treatment. Every bit of tension melted away, leaving me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
Thank you Sharon and the staff at Dunboyne castle for making the day perfect
Beautiful Hotel spacious and bright. All the staff we encountered were lovely, polite and very friendly.
Our room had a small balcony with a sliding door which was great to leave open as it was hot weather when we stayed. The bed was large and very comfortable. Our bathroom was clean and spacious and we appreciated the walk in shower which I had requested due to some slight disabilities my husband has. I appreciated our room was within distance of the reception and dining areas and we didn't have to use the lifts. Also I used the Spa facilities during our stay which was a lovely relaxing experience.
All in all we really enjoyed our stay in Dunboyne Castle Hotel and would highly recommend.
I have to admit we were not a fan of the cooked breakfast. The bacon tasted cheap and was way too fatty. We didn't like the cooked sausages for the same reason. There was literally no taste of the scrambled egg and there was a strange taste of the mushrooms I don't know what they were cooked in but they were not nice at all.
There was an excellent choice for breakfast and you could order of a menu if you wanted your eggs boiled or poached though I did order poached eggs for breakfast on one of my mornings but after waiting quite a while and finishing my breakfast I had to ask 2 more staff members and when they eventually came they were not that nice.
On our last morning we ordered pancakes of the menu and they were delicious.
All in all it was just the cooked breakfast that wasn't to our taste the rest cereals, overnight oats, smoothies, chia puddings and a great selection of fruit and pastries were all lovely.
The menu in the Terrace could be improved also. We dined in the Ivy Restaurant and the food we got was delicious and would highly recommend it.
