Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa

its a repeat visit for us the location is fantastic in tranquil peace and quiet but yet very near dublin if u require it .the service here is fantastic from our visit ever to the holtel denise was amazing so helpful and kind along with niamh who just brings great joy to the front desk she always helpful and smiling which you dont always get these days ...this time we met a lovely young girl in the restaurant aoibheann who couldnt do enough for us and even when busy she was so polite and friendly..for us this hotel ticks all the boxes staff location and food were all excellent and we will be definetly return

I booked a solo stay as a reward for passing exams from start to finish I had excellent treatment from the staff so warm welcoming and friendly, the spa is a must see so relaxing and one member off staff really stood out a lady called Tara with the red hair she went out off her way to help me always had a smile on her face made me feel so welcome and even asked me about my stay and bubble bath the next morning ask she helped me bring my thing to the room and we had such a nice chat on the way but she remember me the next morning and it’s the little attention to details like that that make a stay magical I recommend a stay and and a massive shout out to Miss Tara for making my stay all the little bit more magical the company are really lucky to have you.

I’m coeliac so the food was absolutely amazing and I felt really well patient for for breakfast. Quite honestly I thought that dinner the night before was disappointing.

Slightly disappointed with the room as the furniture was damaged and worn.
I was put on the ground floor as a single solo travelling lady not sure I felt too safe. Higher floor would have been nicer.
Reception was impersonal but nice girl but staff in the bar were lovely.
For the price that my company paid it wasn,t worth it, stayed in nicer in the area .

There was nothing “castle” about this hotel. The room, the lobby, the decor could have been in a Holiday Inn. I’m sure there are more Irish places to stay.

Id just like to share my experience from a recent visit to the Spa at Dunboyne hotel.
On arrival at the Spa I met Orna who was absolutely fantastic in her knowledge and expertise, without doubt my single best experience of a massage Ive ever had, Orna's knowledge, advice & recommendation was truly brilliant and extremely helpful to help resolve an ongoing shoulder issue.
Really looking forward to our next visit to Dunboyne castle.

Beautiful hotel on a wonderful setting. The spa is one of the best in Dublin. A lot of effort has fokejij to improve itbit shows Crea is amazing and so helpfyl her making the booking. Celine knew exactly which therapist to choose for me. Orna anc Catherine were so kind and helpful. We both felt amazing afterwards. Package is great and the afternoon tea and little touches were fab.

Went to the spa had an amazing experience. Orna was wonderful at her job got the best massage ever and couldn't have asked for a nicer lady! Thank you so much Orna 😊

Almost everything

From the time we arrived to when we left, Niamh looked after us, she was amazing as were all the staff. Niamh went above and beyond to look after us. The food, the atmosphere was amazing. We were lucky to have glorious sunshine for our stay. Thank you so much, we will be back. The Spa was a lovely peaceful experience and the staff so friendly and helpful.

Just back from another fantastic night away for my birthday, their tranquility spa night away special is a MUST, As always Niamh on reception went above and beyond to make our stay as perfect as possible, There is a reason she is front of house and sets the tone for your stay from the get go, bright bubbly helpful and so processional, nothing was to much trouble, the spa did not fail, very relaxing , we got to meet a few of the other guest and have a little chat in the outdoor Jacuzzi, food was fab, the room was very clean and spacious with a big comfy bed (made even nicer by the box of chocolates left on it by Niamh for my birthday) Bathroom was lovely with a big shower and separate bath, the breakfast choice had something for everyone, we will definitely back, highly recommend this hotel

Rooms were clean staff was friendly. We had a lovely experience in the Spa for our treatments and thermal suite.

I have been to Dunboyne Castle on a number of occasions.
I have to say it’s great value for money.
From reception, to bar service, restaurant and spa, Everyone is so welcoming.
I had a wonderful spa treatment with Orna. She was amazing and got great relief after treatment. So thank you so much Orna.

We had a lovely stay at Dunboyne Castle. The staff was wonderful,we were greeted with smiles. Very knowledgeable about the area. It was a good location for our ride to the airport for our flight home. Our only disappointment was that the pool was only for spa use. The information from our travel agency indicated that it was open swimming. All the staff were very helpful especially Niamh. When in Ireland again we will look you up.
