Comfortable
Television remote didn't work
Plugs didn't drain
Window didn't work
Location is good for the city centre and attending theatre/shows
Breakfast was ok but could be better. Choice of fresh fruit limited and yoghurt not pleasant (sour/tart taste) Cooked items only just warm enough - not hot. Room tired, bathroom needed attention and loose spot-light hanging from ceiling.
Not too far out from the centre
For the money the lounge area toilets were not kept clean & the bedroom we stayed in wasn’t clean
We got upgraded to a suit which was great! The price was pretty cheep
The rooms were tired and the breakfast buffet wasn’t fantastic. The car park isn’t explained properly so I think we overpaid. Sauna wasn’t working and heating not working properly
Good location and has a pool and spa. Clean.
Room was small and hardly any storage or space to put toiletries. Ok for 1 night but not for a longer stay. Bed not comfy and pillows were flat
I liked the staff eve though over stretched as it was very busy, they were patient and treated us like valuable customers. I wanted an iron and the lady at the reception brought one to my room promptly. I enjoyed the full English breakfast and the sausages were very yummy. The sunny side eggs was just like I wanted it and the environment was very welcoming and pleasant. I saw some dog owners and it was good the hotel accomodated for them too.
The bed was ok but the room was smaller than expected with mot much room to move around.
This was the second night I stayed after a horrible encounter with staff yesterday the staff on today were exception of totally different the manager was lovely the receptions staff was so accommodating but there was still no dressing gowns available so I paid for two nights but no dressing gowns meant no swimming so although I paid for a more expensive room with dressing gowns I didn't get that kind of stay
So although I paid for a more expensive room with dressing gowns I didn't get that kind of stay in there I didn't like that I paid and didn't get what was promised
I paid for a privilege room and there was no dressing gowns so unable to go swimming staff was very rude when I arrived telling me I didn't have a book in several times not explaining a new rule of this positive properly and just demanding it then I asked to check with a manager and the manager then bought my personal experience of losing my son into this total violation I think that was out of order it had nothing to do with my son it had to do with customer care and explaining things properly when somebody doesn't understand and has PTSD and dishonor healing journey
I didn't feel like I was listening to and I was told I can always go somewhere else I have to stay at this hotel because I have to prepare myself for meetings involving 400 families and a lot of past trauma the meetings are held in the hotel so it's very important that I am not triggered or upset over silly little things that could just be explained when I didn't understand I felt I had to close my mouth and not complain because they would have choked me out the hotel I love staying here
Pleasant and comfortable beds
The toilets by the restaurant were very dirty and had no toilet roll
Food in restaurant, rooms and facilities very clean.
Charged £12 for car park others only charged £6. Large queue at check in. We have visited before and the cocktails were excellent but this time very hit and miss.
It was a very cosy and intimate experience and service and amenities were ok.
The rooms (by Jove) were very small and uncomfortable. There wasn’t much space to move around and dressing up for both my wife and I was a real struggle. It definitely wasn’t value for money.
