Poor in every way I don’t think I would stay there anymore or recommend it.

Location was convenient.

Cons:

Twin room too small almost a box room, I paid £16 for breakfast and hot breakfast was very very poor everything was cold so I didn’t eat any also the cold selection was again quite poor and I noticed some other tables had left their food untouched.
When I mentioned it to the hotel assistant manager, the comment back was that their normal chef wasn’t working that day.
Lots of tables not cleared from people who had used it, overall standard not as it should be for a Mercure hotel I had stayed in travel lodge with better standards.

Excellent staff.
Pros:

Apon arrvel my husband and I were Welcomed by a lovely member of staff and asked if we had parked on site as we need to give our car Number Plate to avoid a fine.
The room was well presented apart from the extractor fan in the bathroom not working.
Check in was 3 pm and out 12 noon as explained at reception.
The hotel and room was clean.
We had paid for B&B we went for breakfast about 8:45 and was disappointed with the selection available as items were missing from the contental range and cooked breakfast.
Hot drinks and Orange and Apple juice were available.
I feel this was the only thing that let them down and could be improved.
The dinner we had in the evening was amazing and very hot a good selection on the menu.
All staff were very helpful and friendly 5 *.

Best low cost stay in Nottingham
Pros:

Excellent service from every single member of staff. I look forward to my next stay. Breakfast was amazing. Definitely worth the extra cost. Swimming pool facilities are perfect.

Cons:

The car park is a bit tight but there is a top level which has plenty of room.

Expensive for sub-standard sleeping
Cons:

The sofa bed was too small for for two children. It was also extremely uncomfortable. Not up to the standards expected for the price that was paid. Really disappointed
