Pros:

Emplacement parfait proche de Gion et du temple Kiyomizu-dera, proche des transports, le personnel est aux petits soins, le petit déjeuner très bon et varié, chambre plutôt spacieuse et confortable, baignoire en bois très agréable pour se relaxer après une longue journée de marche

Pros:

This was our favorite stay in Japan. We felt valued and pampered by the personal approach of the staff. Don't be put off by the unusual logs on the outside of the front entry. It's probably about 28 rooms, all with large windows, some with balconies. Room interiors were japanese flavour, with western beds. A beautifully presented breakfast each day and sake or wine and snacks in the evening were both included in the price, but remember there is 400 yen per person per night tourist tax to be paid when you arrive.

Cons:

One of our rooms had an interconnected door to another party who stayed up late, so it was a bit noisy between those rooms

calm hotel with comfortable bed. Good location. Breakfast can be improved for Western standards.
Pros:

Well-located hotel just south of Gion. Very friendly staff and a small, comfortable room. Impeccable bathroom.

Cons:

Breakfast is not very good. Fruits and pancakes are ok. Don't put cornflakes on coleslaw. Just don't. Coffee quality could be improved. Non-dairy or lactose-free options must be offered for coffee and yogurt!
Besides, I was initially provided with only one pillow. Two pillows for a double bed would be reasonable. Beware that the hotel is closed after 11pm, which means that this is not a good place to stay if you want to go out late.

Super petit hôtel avec personnel familial, dans un quartier bien localisé
Pros:

Le personnel était au petit soin. On s’est vraiment senti accueilli ! Le petit déjeuner était correct. L’emplacement était top! Proche du centre pour aller à pied mais aussi du quartier historique de gion et de grands temples aux environs.

Cons:

La douche était un peu difficile à gérer, soit trop chaud avec peu de puissance soit trop froid. Un peu plus d’entraînement et nous aurions sûrement compris le truc.

Estadía olvidable
Pros:

La ubicacion era a un paso de varios medios de transporte y atracciones

Cons:

La habitacion olía a aguas servidas. Tenia un balcon que daba al exterior pero tenia una tablas que impedian recibir luz en su totalidad. Tuve el inconveniente que me falto una toalla que llevo siempre para mi cabello para evitar que el tinte manche las toallas del hotel. Es algo sin valor que seguramente se confumdieron y llevaron a la lavandería. Que mas molesto fue la actitud del señor que es el gerente o dueño. Me dijo que la buscarían. Pero al dia siguiente al decirme que no estaba, no nos entendimos en lo que yo queria expresarle. Mi ingles es muy malo pero la actitud poco empatica de este señor me incomodo. Me dejo con el el celular y el traductor para atender a otro pasajero.

Søde og venligt personale

Cons:

Jeg havde booket til mig og min søn- på intet tidspunkt bliver jeg opmærksom på det er et “women only” og at mænd må komme med hvis de ledsages af en kvinde- det gav en smule varme kinder, indtil jeg snakkede med hotellet. Det kunne godt have været tydeligere.

Bath and location great, but...

The tub and location were wonderful!

Cons:

First, there were a lot of rules I wasn't used to having in a hotel. It closes from midnight until 6am so if you were to go out you would not be allowed back in. I wasn't planning it, but it's good to be aware. They'll also take your room key everytime you leave. The rooms are small but it's not uncommon in Japan. My biggest issue was that the older man who seems to be one of the managers was consistently rude to me. This was my first time in Japan and it put a damper on the time I spent in Kyoto. I would not personally stay here again or recommend it to others.

Schöne Zimmer, super nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Wirklich sehr herzlich!

Cons:

Leider gab es keine Bettlampen oder irgendein gemütliches Licht zum Lesen oder für Abends im Bett liegen. Und es gab kaum was zum aufhängen, besonders für die Handtücher.

Nuestra experiencia con uno de los recepcionistas, cuyo nombre desconocemos, fue muy desagradable. Mostró muy poca paciencia, con un trato poco amable, malos gestos y formas inadecuadas. Interrumpía constantemente y apenas nos dejaba hablar. Considero que la atención al cliente debe ser siempre respetuosa y profesional. Esta valoración se refiere exclusivamente a la atención recibida por esta persona. Y el desayuno muy repetitivo y todos iguales

Pros:

Gastvrijheid: Vriendelijk en gastvrij personeel. Locatie: Gunstige ligging.
Hygiëne: Schoon en goed onderhouden.
Bed: Ligt comfortabel en slaapt prettig.

Cons:

Alles beviel. Voor ons geen probleem, maar handdoeken worden om de dag vervangen. Dit is per persoon afhankelijk of je dit erg vindt. Je kunt overigens wel om nieuwe handdoeken vragen.
