Pros:

L’insonorisation ainsi que le rideau occultant qui étaient parfaits. Le style de l’hôtel. Le petit déjeuner continental inclus qui était très bon. Le personnel très attentif. Le fait qu’ils aient gardé nos bagages après le check out.

Cons:

Emplacement moyen (une station de métro à 10 min pas forcément bien desservie) sauf pour Gion.

A good clean, basic hotel wih very accommodating staff and well priced
Pros:

Really helpful staff who let me check in midmorning after an early flight arrival.

Cons:

Difficult to find the hotel. Google map details I had downloaded were way off. You need a Chinese map to find your way.

Beautiful aesthetic, lovely staff and great breakfast service.

Cons:

A more secure authentication process should be put in place for leaving the key at reception, as the reception only ask for your room number, suggesting that anyone could come to reception and obtain your room number. Maybe asking the name for the booking would be suitable to validate that the person should get the key. This would be saying “what is your name” as opposed to “Is your name John Smith”.

Pros:

Personnel très gentil, nous avions un peu de retard avec notre shinkensen pour l'enregistrement mais le personnel nous a attendu jusqu'à l'heure heure de fermeture

Cons:

RAS, je ne suis resté que 2 jours mais j'ai hâte d'y revenir. Je recommande fortement cet hôtel car il est bien situé géographiquement à 5min de la gare en taxi, personnel très accueillant et serviable, la chambre est spacieuse, confortable et jolie, j'avais peur pour le déjeuner car je mange uniquement halal mais finalement tout ça était pris en compte, c'était vraiment un très bon hôtel.

We specifically got the room with the balcony and the view was mesmerizing.
Other than that the host was very hospitable and kind.
Would definitely recommend!

Cons:

The 'curfew' hours were a little limiting (hotel closes down after 12am so we had to be back before that time), but it was mentioned upfront so we were not surprised.
