When booking 6 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements will apply. The property will contact the guest following their reservation.
The Breakfast inclusive rates include a Full-cooked breakfast and Dinner inclusive rates includes 2 courses from our seasonal menu and a side dish. Supplements apply to certain items. Inclusions only apply for adults.
Children’s Breakfast is not included in the advertised rates and the charges are as follows directly to the hotel:
0-4 years old – Breakfast Complimentary/
5- 11 years old – Breakfast charged at 50% full price/
12 and over breakfast charged at full adult price.

Please note extra beds and cots must be confirmed with the hotel prior to arrival, customers will be required to settle children's extra bed charges (£30 per night) directly with the hotel.
From 29 October 2025, a £5 daily congestion charge will apply to cars driving through central Oxford – please check if you need a permit.
There is a limit of 30 onsite parking spaces at the hotel which must be booked in advance by contacting the hotel to the contact number provided on the confirmation after booking. The charge is GBP 34 for an overnight stay from 15:00 until 12:00 the next day. Spaces are subject to availability and must be booked prior to your stay in order to guarantee a reserved space. You will be asked to leave your keys with our reception team upon arrival. Please contact the hotel for further details. Valet parking is also available.
When traveling with a dog, please note that an extra charge of £25 for 1 dog or £40 for maximum 2 dogs, per night applies . Dogs are allowed in designated guest rooms-please notify the hotel in advance.

The hotel is an experience! It is an old prison and they have cleverly styled it to be comfortable and updated but maintain some of the prison character. The ceilings are vaulted, walls thick and some high original windows. Comfortable bed, lovely shower and soaking tub and nice in room amenities.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location is right in Oxford, so close to the colleges, shopping, museums and the train station. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very tasty.

We have just got back from a wonderful stay at MalMaison in Oxford. Staff have been exemplary. From our first meeting with The young gentleman who did our Valet parking . Sorry don’t know his name put wore flat cap . To The lady on reception who helped us get to the hotel after getting stuck in Oxford with our sat-nav .
Great service at the restaurant and bar with great food and the breakfast was fabulous , great selection of food and well worth the money. Rooms were lovely and the decor was beautiful. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back if staying in Oxford again, shout out to The bar manager, who pours a mean cocktail and her staff , especially Alex who was a very attentive server on both days we went in the bar . We enjoyed it that much we stayed a lot longer than we had planned and ended up having our meal there ,when we had planned to go out 🫢
