Important information:

When booking 6 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements will apply. The property will contact the guest following their reservation.

The Breakfast inclusive rates include a Full-cooked breakfast and Dinner inclusive rates includes 2 courses from our seasonal menu and a side dish. Supplements apply to certain items. Inclusions only apply for adults.

Children’s Breakfast is not included in the advertised rates and the charges are as follows directly to the hotel:

0-4 years old – Breakfast Complimentary/
5- 11 years old – Breakfast charged at 50% full price/
12 and over breakfast charged at full adult price.
Kids Dinner Menu also available.

Please note extra beds and cots must be confirmed with the hotel prior to arrival, customers will be required to settle children's extra bed charges (£30 per night) directly with the hotel.

From 29 October 2025, a £5 daily congestion charge will apply to cars driving through central Oxford – please check if you need a permit.

There is a limit of 30 onsite parking spaces at the hotel which must be booked in advance by contacting the hotel to the contact number provided on the confirmation after booking. The charge is GBP 34 for an overnight stay from 15:00 until 12:00 the next day. Spaces are subject to availability and must be booked prior to your stay in order to guarantee a reserved space. You will be asked to leave your keys with our reception team upon arrival. Please contact the hotel for further details. Valet parking is also available.

When traveling with a dog, please note that an extra charge of £25 for 1 dog or £40 for maximum 2 dogs, per night applies . Dogs are allowed in designated guest rooms-please notify the hotel in advance.

Bit more expensive than other hotels but sooo worth it.
Pros:

Location,the staff were amazing from valet parking,check in and the restaurant team.Particular the young guy on the bar both nights we where there.The treat us as if we where friends rather than customer/guests

Super mal in Oxford zu sein bei Regen! Aber nur 5 von 10 Wow Faktor Punkte für den Ort!
Pros:

Lage, Freundliches Peronal, Nespressomaschine am Zimmer, Frühstück sehr ordentlich! Besonders nett war es an der Bar, Barkeeper waren supertoll und Steakabend Di. herrlich. Liegt super am Weg von Birmingham nach Oxford (über Stratford upon Avon).

Cons:

Zimmer nicht zum Lüften. Frühstückszeiten zu kurz.
Parken in UK katastrophal Abzocke. Es fehlte Info bei Anreise, dass gesamte Straße gesperrt ist. Umweg 25 Minuten über die Stadt.

Suberb staff and location!

Läget, byggnaden och personalen.

Cons:

Our quirky, excellent stay at The Malmaison Oxford
Pros:

Liked absolutely everything from Michael and the car parking facility, Alex in the bar, the room, the food, excellent breakfast and the actual hotel is incredible...loved it and will certainly return.
Michael was great first point of contact, friendly abd very helpful, thank you.

牢獄ホテルは面白い経験でした！
Pros:

なにしろ、牢獄だった建物をホテルにしたのですから、それだけで、楽しいです。このホテルにしたのは、大好きなテレビ番組「オックスフォードミステリー　ルイス警部」のシリーズ１、エピソード３に出てくるからです。このホテルが舞台になっています。このドラマを見てから宿泊することをお勧めします。ショッピングセンターにも近いです。

Cons:

私は別館の部屋を予約してしまったのだと思います。レセプションから部屋まで行くのが階段を上り、下り、渡り廊下のようなところを通り、迷子になりそうでした。本館の部屋を予約したほうがいいと思います。

Very comfortable stay with special historic features
Pros:

Excellent location, between tucked right between the Oxford station and the high street - away from the noise and hectic traffic of both. The venue retains some of original features, including a cell, which makes the experience particularly interesting for family with teens.
We were offered an upgrade from standard to a Club room for a small fee which is a wonderful gesture.
Rooms are well air conditioned, spacious.

Pros:

Most comfortable bed and bed linen. Good food and bar. Great location. Very good service staff.

Cons:

The leather chair was impossible to sit on. The cushion slid forward all the time, which gave me a sore back.
Also, why did I have to pay £601 for the first night and 50% more for the other nights than I would pay today or next week? Who fixes the prices? Is it the hotel or booking.com. No spa facilities or pool.

Brilliant hotel - best location
Pros:

Cannot fault it. You pays yer money etc. Location absolutely perfect - minutes to everything, staff attentive. 100% will go back

Chez Mal Restaurant
Pros:

Ate at the restaurant, Chez Mal and it was great. Incredible service by Jed!! Made us feel incredibly welcome and the food was great. Worth noting main dishes dont start until 5pm but the sandwiches were great

great weekend break in a very unique building with an excellant location.
Pros:

We liked the way the prison had been adapted to a hotel, leaving the main buildings and features as they always were and adapting the cells into bedrooms, bar and reception.

Cons:

would be glad when the new lift is installed.
