Pros:

Beautiful resort, comfortable rooms,excellent housekeeping, location very convenient, friendly and helpful staff
We loved the Italian restaurant
Overall a pleasant stay

Cons:

Being strict vegetarians, it was sad to see that the hotel failed to cater which was disappointing as we were on all inclusive. Infact on one occasion there was not even one item of vegetarian dish which was shocking as we had paid for all inclusive just like everyone else
The head chef did make us one dish which was a kind gesture .However, very poor choice for vegetarians and the hotel needs to improve on this

Pros:

The tennis court was a fun part of the facilities and the balcony over pool/gardens was very peaceful when they had guitar playing at night. AC worked and easy parking. Staff was also lovely and very helpful! Pillows were also very comfortable

Cons:

It was quite pricey for the experience we had and the all inclusive dinner was the worse meal we had in Madeira which was disappointing. It also felt a bit like a crowded cruise ship with the different pool entertainers and amount of people everywhere.

Pros:

Hôtel et chambre charmante.
Petit déjeuner copieux. Le cadre de l’hôtel est vraiment agréable, piscine et jardins bien entretenus.

Cons:

Le buffet de l’hôtel n’est pas forcément super. Mangeable mais sans forcément de plaisir

Highly recommend wonderful stay
Pros:

Here’s a warmer, more polished version:

The staff were absolutely lovely and always so helpful. They arranged a car hire for us and made the whole process so easy and stress-free. We had a small issue with our shower during our stay, and it was fixed straight away — the service was fantastic.

The food was excellent — so fresh and of such a high quality, it felt exactly like what you would choose from a great restaurant. We had planned to go out for dinner a few evenings, but we didn’t need to as the food at the hotel was so amazing. The coffee machines dotted around the hotel were also a lovely touch, making it easy to help yourself whenever you fancied a coffee.

The location was beautiful, with stunning views from the hotel. There is a lovely coastal walk of around an hour to Funchal, which was such a relaxing and enjoyable way to take in the scenery.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

The only downside was that we were given two single beds pushed together rather than a double bed, which did take away slightly from the romantic feel of our getaway. We also noticed there seemed to be a plastic mattress protector or top sheet on the bed, which made it a little noisy during the night and slightly less comfortable than expected.

Cons:

Bardzo zniszczona sauna zewnętrzna. Słaba organizacja zespołu do spraw rozrywki na basenie. Bardzo słabe wieczorki muzyczne. Na 6 wieczorów tylko jeden był fajny. Najważniejsze; całkowity brak kontaktu z obiektem już po dokonaniu rezerwacji. Mieliśmy problem z dojazdem i próbowaliśmy się skontaktować z obiektem mailowo oraz telefonicznie. Przez kilka godzin nie otrzymaliśmy odpowiedzi na maile oraz nikt nie odbierał telefonu. Również konsultant booking,com, z którym prowadziliśmy rozmowę nie mógł dodzwonić się do obiektu. Przy kontaktach z recepcją na własne oczy widzieliśmy, że obsługa nie odbiera telefonów. Duży minus za to!!
