The warmth you seek in a freezing weather
Pros:

Location at the new town, quiet place, friendly and helpful staff.
Luggage storage was a big plus considering the long time between the check out and our flight

Cons:

It’s a bit noisy when walking on the floor, but we got used to it :)

4g reception didn’t work in the apartment but understandable for the granite building was the only bad thing but no biggie.

Great location but some improvements to living areas and check in process would go a long way!
Pros:

Great location and staff was very friendly and helpful!

Cons:

We did not have hot water one morning (front desk did fix the issue by the time we arrived back later that day)

The washer/ dryer unit did not dry clothes at all.

The check in process/ getting your digital key was a not great and hard to figure out.

Digital check-in and rooms keys ruined what should have been a great stay
Pros:

Apartments are cosy and beautifully furnished and equipped. Great location. Great size. Better than other aparthotels in Edinburgh.

Cons:

Digital check-in and room keys. Checkin didn’t work at all. I was lucky I got there before the receptionist left otherwise I would have struggled. On my return to the apartment that evening my phone had died and I couldn’t get into the hotel. I was cold on the streets for ages before another guest was able to let me inside. I still couldn’t get in my room and until I borrowed a charger. It was a nightmare tbh! They should have some way of contact out of hours that doesn’t rely on a person having their mobile phone!!

Great location in Edinburgh.
Pros:

Super clean, awesome kitchen facilities, fully equipped, perfect location near the train station.

Cons:

We got an underground room with no windows nor views of the outside.

We had a lovely time.
Pros:

The property had everything you needed. Comfortable bed. Really clean. Excellent location. Highly recommend.

Cons:

We had problems getting into the property. The instructions need to be much clearer. Fortunately, we got help from another guest. We also had to help some other guests who were having the same problem! You do need to make sure you are connected to the Wi-Fi before you enter the building.

Would recommend. Overall great stay
Pros:

Fantastic location, very good value for money. It was fairly spacious and it was a comfortable stay. It is also stocked well with kitchen equipment (pans, stove, oven, microwave) if you decide to have some meals in the hotel.

Cons:

It’s slightly annoying that theres no physical key card, you have to access the building and your room with an online “key” - so you have to make sure your phone is charged and the app can be a bit slow to connect to the door, causing a delay.

And my one suggestion to the hotel is to add a light in the cupboard because it is very dark and the ceiling light isn’t sufficient to see properly into the cupboard.

Pros:

Super Lage, wir waren zu zweit und jeder hatte ein eigenes Schlafzimmer. Wir hatten genug platz. Wir haben zwar nie gekocht, aber es scheint, dass die Küche vollständig ausgestattet war. Wir waren weit oben und hatten gartensicht. Daher war es sehr ruhig, trotz der zentralen Lage. Sehr nettes Personal

Cons:

Der Zugang mit der App war fummelig, hat aber immer funktioniert. Eher ringhörig.

Good location and facilities. I probably wouldn’t recommend if travelling as a solo female.
Pros:

- location was great. Quiet and close proximity to shops, restaurant and train station
- good supply of tea and coffee throughout
- bag storage once checked out
- good facilities in the room

Cons:

- there was a radiator that I could not turn off. Tried twice to find staff to speak to them but they were not at the desk during the hours of 9-6 despite me waiting around for a bit
- bedside light in the room is fluorescent
- As a solo female, I didn’t feel particularly secure. I was on the ground floor and aware there is no staff on site to help if anything happened.
