Der wunderschöne Ausblick auf das Meer und das ausgesprochen freundliche Personal sind leider die einzigen positiven Aspekte unseres Aufenthalts. Das Personal war wirklich sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend – dafür möchte ich mich ausdrücklich bedanken.

Leider wurde unser Aufenthalt durch Renovierungsarbeiten, die täglich von 9:00 bis 18:00 Uhr stattfanden, erheblich beeinträchtigt. Der Lärm war extrem unangenehm und machte es nahezu unmöglich, sich im Hotel zu entspannen oder sich in Ruhe auszuruhen.

Besonders enttäuschend war der Umgang der Hotelleitung mit unserer Situation. Als wir um etwas Ruhe baten, zeigte sich der Chef bzw. Besitzer des Hotels nicht bereit, mit uns darüber zu sprechen. Das war für uns absolut unverständlich und enttäuschend. An einem der Tage war ich schwer krank und litt unter massivem Erbrechen. Gerade in einem solchen Zustand ist Ruhe dringend notwendig. Dass in dieser Situation keinerlei Gesprächsbereitschaft seitens der Hotelleitung bestand, empfanden wir als besonders enttäuschend und wenig gastfreundlich.

Auch sollte man sich bewusst sein, dass die Hotelfotos aus sehr vorteilhaften Perspektiven aufgenommen wurden und dadurch einen schöneren Eindruck vermitteln können, als man vor Ort tatsächlich erlebt.

Insgesamt haben wir uns deutlich mehr Erholung und vor allem mehr Verständnis von der Hotelleitung erhofft. Das freundliche Personal und der traumhafte Meerblick sind tatsächlich die einzigen Gründe, warum diese Bewertung nicht noch schlechter ausfällt. Ein schöner Ausblick allein kann leider weder stundenlangen Renovierungslärm noch einen derart enttäuschenden Umgang mit Gästen ausgleichen.

The building was under renovation/construction, but it was not noisy at all, just a bit of a building site, which didn't affect me at all.

Very noisy. During the day, construction work in the hotel would never end. In the evenings, the scratching of the lounge chairs on the rooftop restaurant would not stop before 11 p.m.

Loud people staying on the room next door. Not the properties fault

I waited 40 minutes to check in at 2PM because there was no staff at the property. No receptionist, no housekeeping, and nobody answered the phone when I tried calling. After 40 minutes, someone finally arrived to let me in.

The hotel has two floors. The lower floor, where the reception and some rooms are located, smells extremely bad like mold and dampness, to the point where it’s hard to breathe. The second floor seems recently renovated and was much cleaner and fresher.

There were multiple maintenance issues in the room. The bathroom door handle was broken so I couldn’t properly close or lock the door. The sink tap was also broken, so there was no running water to wash hands. There is also a gap under/around the hotel room door, allowing mosquitoes to come inside.

The restaurant next to my room was under full renovation during my stay. It was very loud, messy, and dirty. Construction workers stayed awake all night talking loudly and playing cards, making it difficult to sleep.

Another concern was the safety box in the room. It was not bolted to the wall, meaning anyone could simply take the entire safe, which does not feel secure at all.
