Nice rooms crappy staff
Pros:

The hotel had comfortable beds and larger rooms that were more to an American standard.

Cons:

Staff was unhelpful and locked me out of my room when I had requested a late check out. They still had the audacity to charge me for the late check out fee

Our stay here was fantastic — the location was incredibly convenient with stores and train connectivity just a minute aw
Pros:

The property was truly excellent, especially in terms of location and convenience. Convenience stores and the nearest train station were both just a minute away, with easy connectivity to major stations across Osaka. The hotel was also only a short cab ride from the city’s main attractions and key transport hubs, making it an ideal base for exploring Osaka.

Coming to the property itself, the rooms were admittedly on the smaller side, but that is fairly standard across most hotels in Japan and certainly not a drawback specific to Daiwa. What truly stood out were the thoughtful amenities available at the reception, including excellent face cleansers, hair oils, and more. The rooms also featured ReFa hair appliances, which added a really luxurious touch to the overall stay.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Instead of the usual buffet-style setup most hotels offer, the hotel provides breakfast coupons that can be redeemed for individual meals — each one simple, light, thoughtfully prepared, and incredibly satisfying. A particularly convenient touch was that if you happened to miss breakfast on any day, the unused coupon could easily be transferred and used on another morning during your stay.

We landed in Osaka and chose to check in here and stay at a hotel in Osaka itself, and this one raised the bar too high.

Simple, well maintained, easy around, all within an affordable budget.
