Great location and service, but facilities let it down
Pros:

Location was amazing - a few mins walk to coty cat, train and bus stations. Staff service was amazing, we got spare milk and washing powder as needed. We loved that there was cold, sweet tea upon arrival. We loved that you were encouraged to refill your water bottles with either still or sparkling water directly from the bar.

Cons:

The room itself was a let down. We paid AUD 2176 for 4 nights for a 2brm self contained apartment. The dishwasher did little more than swish water around- did not clean dishes at all. The dryer did not dry clothes, even after several hours in there - we ended up having to dry clothes by hanging on the balcony. The oven dishes were disgusting, we had to clean them over three soaks (in the bathtub, because it didn't fit in the dishwasher) just to remove the grime and crusted spills built up, there were no appropriate scrubbing brushes to clean it with. There were only 3 mugs (for a family of 4). The balcony door lock was broken with a sharp shard left with which to cut your hand on every time you locked it. The balcony table was uneven, with a rolled piece of cardboard used to prop it up. On level 2, there was a small gym with heated pool and spa; the heated pool was not very heated, it was still cold to swim in. The spa bubbler did not work the entire time we were there - pressing the button did nothing. If you are after weights in the gym beware they only go to 20kg (I needed up to 25kg). For the price paid, I did expect more. If the price was lower, I could have settled however the reason we booked over other places were for the amenities (eg. Heated pool, spa and dryer in the unit) which did not deliver their promises. For the price paid, I would stay elsewhere (like the Star across the river, which had been the other option we looked at, but it did not have a heated pool). All other options we considered were cheaper, so we will not be returning at this price again.

Was nice and clean. Great location. Comfy bed. Nice sized room and ensuite.
Pros:

Location and room size. It was clean

Cons:

Not much in the room, no lounge, no toaster. No instructions of how to use or utilise anything. No towels available at the pool/spa. No information in the rooms for what was about or how to contact anyone or use anything. Hard to access ie. - drop off zone(we had to be dropped off down the round around the corner.

My mum's 80th birthday present.
Pros:

We loved the room, how close it was to all entertainment places,the staff and how polite and helpful they were.

Cons:

Mum is 80,therefore with her age her mobility is not the best. Her shower was over the bath and she was unable to step up over the bath to have a shower. Both of us used my shower instead which was not putting us out too much.

Amazing staff and location.
