Friendly staff and room services

The flora charisma rooms are very large with a comfortable bed.The buffet breakfast and evening buffet were great value and of a high standard,the food really was excellent!Friendly,helpful staff contributed to a great stay.

I had a week-long stay at Hotel Flora and it was a truly wonderful experience. Every staff member I interacted with—from reception to housekeeping—was extremely warm, professional, and helpful. Since I stayed for several days, I had the opportunity to meet many of them, and the service was consistently impeccable throughout my stay.

I would especially like to highlight a few individuals and teams:

Mr. Akhish (Reception): Exceptionally accommodating. Despite it being peak season, he kindly arranged a late check-out for me since my flight was in the evening.

Mr. Tejas & Mr. Shobi (Restaurant): They served me breakfast and lunch almost every day and were always attentive, prompt, and cheerful. Even during the busiest lunch hours, they worked tirelessly without ever losing their warm smiles.

Ms. Shabana: She was incredibly helpful when my mother wasn’t feeling well and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Housekeeping Team: A special thanks to them for keeping our room thoroughly clean every day and for quickly responding to any additional requests we had.

Security Team: I truly appreciate the security staff who ensured our safety every day. They were always alert and helpful—assisting with luggage, guiding us when getting into cabs, and making sure we felt secure throughout our stay.

What truly makes Hotel Flora stand out is its people—the staff are its greatest asset.
My only small suggestion would be to provide staff members with name badges, as it would make it easier for guests to recognize and appreciate their efforts.

Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

We are quite fortunate to have travelled the world and experienced many adventures and stayed at many luxury hotels.

But the service we received at the flora residency Aluva has to be far most the best.

My wife fractured her left foot due a fall at her residence, luckily the hospital was across the road from the hospital.

The staff were very helpful and sympathetic, they provided a wheel chair ,chairs for the bathroom for convenience and safety.

Always helped to push the wheel chair from the room, restaurant, hospital, coming and going from the hotel.

Treated our extended family with respect when they visited us be that in the room or restaurant.

The food at the restaurant is amazing truly authentic . We always come back for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Unfortunately we were unable to extend our stay due to availability.

A big thank you to all the staff Mr Davis P Thomas kutty, especially Ms Sredha Sajeev. She was truly the backbone to our amazing stay. Mr Aromal and Akhil at reception, always ready to help. Big thanks to Shobi from the restaurant who every morning made our breakfast awesome, big smile and knew exactly what I want.

Thank you to the security staff, 2 chaps in the front always there to help with warm hearts and big smiles.

Honestly you dont feel like a paying guest.

Room was beautiful (and huge). Also the restaurant was really good.

Nice small hotel near Cochi airport! Clean spacious new comfortable rooms, very helpful and welcoming staff, good restaurant with a wide variety of Indian dishes and few non-Indian options. I had minor issues with intermittent electricity and hot water pressure, but otherwise it was a very positive experience.

We had a great time at this property, all the staff was very curteous and polite. Breakfast was great with plenty of options and made to order live Dosa and omelette station. Hotel was conveniently located close to the Aluva Metro station (500 meters)

Visited Rainfall restaurant for lunch with family, and I must say, it was an great experience! We ordered the biryani, and it was absolutely delicious.

We stayed here for one night before going to the airport. We had a fantastic stay. We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade. The room was spacious and contained all the amenities you need. The food in the restaurant was delicious! The service from all of the staff was amazing! Highly recommend!

Room had one or two mosquitoes - hotel could fumigate rooms 2 or 3 times a year to combat this.
