A pleasant place to stay

The location is very close to all the tourists attractions. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment on it.

Amazing location, lovely staff, disappointing rooms.
Pros:

The staff are exceptional, very friendly and polite.

Cons:

The bed in the room was notably shorter than a standard bed by at least 30cm. We also had an issue with the bed creaking; it was so loud that it kept us awake at night. We notified the front desk team, and the bed was "fixed", but actually, it just made it worse. We were given a new room for the third night, and it was much better.

The bathroom in both rooms was pretty tired and didn't seem that clean.

Lastly, we tried to order room service, which appears to be handled by a third party, and they were extremely rude when answering the phone.

Nice but overpriced
Pros:

The staff is very attentive and nice, they are really well trained kind people. The location for us is a 10/10, we stay in this area every time we come to Barcelona and for us is incredible. The overall look of the common parts of the hotel is well curated and stylish. The pool area seems cool for hotter months.

Cons:

We understand the area is expensive but overall the room is not worth the money, we have found solutions that are better quality at the same price in this exact zone. The room is quite gloomy more than fashionable as it might seem in the pictures, it’s dark and small and especially you cannot open the window and honestly the ventilation is not the best. The cleaning did not always provide the best service. The bathroom is a bit outdated and the shower/bath situation is not comfortable. Lastly, in a 4S hotel in 2026 it is not acceptable a TV without Netflix / streaming / chromecast something. I don’t think we will come back all things considered vs the price payed.

Not luxury
Pros:

Sadly this hotel did not live up to the hype. The photos show the best bits! The pool was closed for maintenance which I was not informed of prior to arrival. The air conditioning did not work.. and the bathroom was tired! When the pool did open - it’s tiny! And the view from the upgraded room.. I’ll let the photo do the talking xx
