Lovely hotel in a perfect location , we had an early arrival and check in, great room , comfy bed . Car park is under hotel , £17 for 24hrs. lovely bar . Miller and Carter restaurant in the hotel .

The room was stuffy and hot. Air con only went to 18 to didnt make a difference and was made worst by the bathroom extractor fan not working so heat from showers just poured into the room. We left our room at 9 came back at 5 and the room hadn't been attended still no towels dirty tea mugs and no toilet roll. Would have expected for the price paid for these things to have been addressed by this time, wasn't bothered about room cleaning or bed changing but replenishment would have been nice. No mirror in desk so drying hair had to be done in wardrobe mirror only problem with that was no electric socket anywhere near this mirror and lead didnt reach

Bizarre that room service could not be charged to the room - either had to go down to reception to pay or pay by cash. What if i had been ill in bed and no cash? I've never heard of a hotel offering room service and it not being charged to the room. Unusually i had the cash
The reception was warm. Even after changing rooms as I ended up staying an an additional night, the receptionist remembered my name…..such little things go a long way.
The next morning after my first night, the staff member and his manager, made my transition into a different room, easy
