Location. Beautiful hotel. Really comfortable room
It was all great. But I'd have liked bigger bath towels!
The style of the hotel and the staff are absolutely amazing!! You could not ask for anything better!. Great breakfast lovely clean rooms. So helpful for assisting transport for any locations I so will stay again!!
Just a few things in our room the coffee machine leaked over the desk, a few members of staff came across judgemental and the paint on the inside bathroom door was peeling off.
We arrived early and were told 2 rooms would be available for us on upper floor
When we checked it we were separated on different floors
We then insisted on same floor and were made to feel they were doing us a favour!

I think this is one of our favourite Marriott Hotels. The room is spacious and very clean. The location was perfect and the car parking was great too. My favourite is the interior of the hotel - I love how historic the building is.
The only thing that we didn’t like was that we weren’t able to have an early check-in even if we’re a member
Breakfast buffet was lovely. Top quality. The decor was well done with rich jewel tones. Art work was tasteful. Staff was charming.
There was places need touch paint in hallways and some furniture was scratched deep enough to immediately notice. Parking was quite pricey but much needed for the weekend.

The hotel was just in the heart of the city!
Breakfast was wonderful, the restaurant and the food was beyond my expectations.
Our room was upgraded to a family room when we asked for two separate beds. It was a very generous offer!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great central location with plenty of on-site parking. Good size bedroom for a city centre hotel.
Some of the decor/carpets in public areas starting to look a little tired.
