The architecture and style of the building (internal and external) and the location was fantastic for access to the places I needed to be.
Having a secure car park was a real bonus.

The air conditioning wasn't working - to their credit, the staff had placed fans in the rooms - however it was difficult to get to sleep due to the heat

The air con in the room was not working. Our room was on the lower ground floor so we could not open a window. We have an 11 month old baby and it was too hot to sleep safely. It was a very bad nights sleep.
Excellent location, outstanding staff, great facilities, comfortable rooms. Everything you’d expect from a four star hotel. Building is beautiful throughout. Wish I could have stayed longer.
I travel extensively and have stayed in many four star hotels, this is one of my favourites.
Beautiful building and great location
When I check-in, I was told that the Aircon was broken and that I could have a fan in the room if I wanted it. The room was so hot that I had a cold shower at 2 o’clock in the morning to cool down. The Wi-Fi in the room was useless so the staff gave me the staff login that was also useless. When I checked out, nobody asked me how my day was. Very, very disappointed.

Absolutely joke ask me for 50 pounds deposit never return money to me . I been call ever single day asking for my money .
So many standard but treat customer like that . They said the already send money but don't have prove of transaction they send to me money . Don't stay here I will take this further and you will lose customer
They tell you after check out you get your money . No you don't 2 weeks after still call ask for my money , manager don't show evidence of money return just keep ask me to wait. Whait fir what ? Don't stay here
Location and outward appearance. Room size good and clean
The air conditioning not working through hotel so too hot. Had to ask twice to get a small fan sent up. Water in tap smelled of drains even after running. Restaurant service average and got served wrong food although was corrected quickly. Coffee in breakfast was undrinkable and noticed others leaving it too. And breakfast quality average although selection ok

niente di niente, sconsiglio vivamente questo hotel soggiorno un incubo!!! il mio soggiorno è coinciso nella settimana di gran caldo e l'aria condiziobata non funzionava e come mi è stato riferito era gia da molti giorni che era fuoribuso! una struttura cosi dovrebbe orivvedere quanto prima per il benessere dei clienti molti di loro hanno formito con la porta della camera aperta!!! la situazione è stata anche peggiorata dalla presenza della moquette e dalle finestre che non possono essere aperte per sicurezza e questo posso comprenderlo ma cercare di alleviare il disagio almeno si! dopo due giorni di insistenze ci hanno dato un ventilatore di quelli da passeggio 🤦♀️ cose da matti davvero! il direttore della struttura dovrebbe cambiare lavoro se non riesce a soddisfare i clienti ed il loro benessere! le zone comuni sporche e polverose questo hotel è solo un'apparenza di altro non ha nulla vacanza rovinata dalle notti insonni per il caldo

No aircon
Tesis çok merkezi konumda, tarihi bir bina içerisinde oldukça güzeldi. Kahvaltı oldukça zengin ve içeriği yeterliydi.
Otelde bir gece konakladık, giriş yaptığımız gün merkezi klimalar arızalanmış ve bu bize iletilmedi. Odada klimaların çalıştığını varsayarak açtık ve dışarı çıktık. Geldiğimizde oda aşırı sıcaktı ve durumu bildirdiğimde klimaların bozuk olduğu bilgisini aldık. Gece kötü olursak başka otele nakil (diğer kardeş Mariot otele) yapabileceklerini ilettiler (saat 22.30). Sonunda odaya küçük bir vantilatör gönderildi. Belki bu durum bizim şansızlığımızdı ancak arızanın otel tarafından yönetilme şekli berbattı.
Location is fantastic...close to city centre and bus stop. Also has a Tesco across the street for food and drink. The decor is fantastic in the lobby and the furnishings tend to the more traditional and lush. Rooms are comfortable and pleasantly appointed. Lots of comfortable bar and tea rooms to refresh or chat. Staff is friendly and professional.
It didn't help that the weather was some of the hottest on record and the air conditioning was inoperable. Windows don't open.
Worse the ice and water machine on my floor were broken
They y closed the bar earlier than advised at check in. Could not get a cold drink after arriving back from outings.
The wifi was unreliable and poor.
The afternoon tea on the menu wasn't available due to kitchen staffing.
I was so uncomfortable that I slept at my daughter's house most nights and checked out early. I wasn't offered a refund or an apology or a credit.
Breakfast, location, decor etc
No one informed us that the aircon was not working. The windows did not open. Other than that perfect.
