Mistakenly booked through booking.com as searched for bath and this was first in the search, realised straight away so called to cancel they were not helpful and said I had to go through booking.com and now have lost 343 quid
Excellent location, spacious room and bathroom, good parking options, very clean hotel, and overall nice interior design. The reception staff were also friendly and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant.
The hotel services were far below what I would expect from a 4-star hotel. The furnishings and equipment feel outdated, and there was no power outlet near the bed, which should be standard nowadays. Nobody asked whether we wanted the minibar to be refilled or not. The biggest disappointment was the bar service — despite drink menus being placed on the tables, guests were expected to go to the bar themselves to order drinks. At the neighboring table, two ladies sat for quite a while without any drinks and no waiter approached them once. Overall, the service quality was very poor and disappointing for a hotel of this category.

Breakfast cold on first day. Had to wait two hours for a table in the restaurant for evening meal - wasn't advised to book on check in. No bath in bathroom. Room service pots outside other rooms overnight and into the day. Carpets outside rooms a bit tired. Toilets not convenient to the restaurant. Outside terrace from the bar noisy outside our bedroom
