L’établissement est très bien situé.
Nous avions une chambre au sous sol. Vue sur un mur et les fenêtres ne s’ouvraient pas. Détestable, sentiment d’étouffer, chambre sombre.
Location is perfect. Super clean. Very friendly staff.
Everything was perfect
Hotel is amazing, grand, clean and spacious
Mattress was bad in our bed, we had to put a pillow between is all night, to stop us rolling to the middle
Great Location. On site parking.
Location and friendly staff
The room was incredibly hot. It wasn’t a hot day. The lowest the air con could reach was 18 degrees- that’s a heating setting! At close to midnight (having removed duvets from covers) we gave up and I went to reception. They were lovely and sent a fan to the room, but it was a very uncomfortable night of not good sleep which spoilt the next morning. We enjoyed a walk in the (much needed) fresh air to a cafe though- £18.50 for breakfast felt a bit steep!
Location is great. Sits next to the Hippodrome which was our destination for the trip. Room was OK, not great. Breakfast was good (it was a steakhous turned breakfast restaurant in the morning). All in all was an OK stay.
We were supposed to get our room at 3pm, but the staff kept telling us it wasn't ready. The staff kept us uninformed as to why until we really pressed for answer. Turned out the previous guests in the room were "Elite Members" and they kept the room until well after 4pm. After 4pm we talked to the staff again, and they came up with an offer to reduce the room rate, although that came too late. They should have done that up front, as it was their flawed policy that allowed certain people to check out late, interfering with our plans which were not our fault.
Relaxed atmosphere - tidy - friendly staff
Nothing
Stunning hotel, great location, staff couldn’t do enough. Bar and restaurant were excellent. Went out of their way to make daughter’s birthday special with cake and balloons in the room.
Stunning building
Mouldy bathroom
Location is fantastic. Food is very good.
Parking is really tight spaces. Ground floor signage is poor. Room was expensive and ended up in the basement next to a road! Thought we booked breakfast but had to pay £17 per head!
Everything was beautiful. The hotel, food, room very comfortable and staff were very helpful.
Nothing
Very comfortable bed. Lovely ‘This Works’ products in bathroom. Pleasant and helpful staff.
Needs a deep clean. Back of bathroom door very dirty, and skirting boards dusty. Corridors had same empty bottles and plates outside rooms all afternoon/evening which must have been due to staff shortage.
The hotel was beautiful, perfect place to stay to access the main town, resturants, bars etc.
Cake & sweets at reception free & delicious.
Water available too.
Staff were very helpful.
The room was lovely, big, clean & cosy.
Large rooms.
Grand hotel with impressive architecture.
Location excellence with very convinient car parking.
No Spa
Breakfast room was in the basement and the breakfast wasn't included unless you paid for access to the executive suite which was a bit of a rip off to be fair.
The miller and carter restaurant was good but very pricy - 20-30% over valued
Breakfast in the main restaurant was extra but some guest had this included. This caused much confusion for our party.
The rooms had no bath - just a shower.
parking was convenient but again extra cost and not included.
