Comfortable night, convenient for Nairn and the airport
Pros:

Great location, lovely grounds, large comfortable room, good breakfast

Cons:

La struttura è davvero molto bella nelle parti esterne

Cons:

L'interno è datato, ma tutto sommato abbastanza curato. La camera, invece, pur essendo molto grande, aveva la finestra rotta, non si chiudeva e abbiamo dormito con la finestra aperta, per fortuna non faceva molto freddo. Il bagno abbastanza pulito ma datato.

Could be a lovely hotel. Has a lot of potential.
Pros:

Good location. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Lounge was comfortable and had a cosy feel. Lovely old house.

Cons:

We arrived at hotel entrance and cigarette butts were all over entrance steps. Not a good first impression. They were never cleaned as still there 2 days later. Bedroom decor was tired . Windows had dirt inside and out. Paintwork dirty. Such a shame as lovely old building but needs a major upgrade.

un prix inaceptable par rapport à la qualité générale

On a abimé un bâtiment qui d'antan a dû être un très bel hôtel: matériaux et décoration de mauvaise qualité et de mauvais goût. Rien à voire avec celle d'origine. Qualité du petit-déjeuner fort médiocre. Service négligé

Loved the breakfast, the highland cows and the building itself. The room was super cool.

Cons:

The million seagulls or gulls screaming all night. If they had AC it wouldn’t have been that bad but since it was so hot we had to have the windows open.

Als Erstes, der unfreundliche Manger, der nicht auf die Fragen und Beschwerden eingegangen ist und nur sein geschultes, kaltes Managergehabe an den Tag gelegt hat. Der Grund dafür war ein ausgebuchtes Hotel, wegen einer Schottischen Hochzeit und wir. Vorher wäre ich gerne informiert worden, wegen der Hochzeit, wir hatten ja schon Wochen davor gebucht und bei dem Wissen hätten wir lieber zeitig umgebucht. So bleibt eine lärmende, schlaflose Nacht in meiner Erinnerung und der pampige Manger.

A truly impressive building in spectacular surroundings, with highland cattle in the field in front and views out over the Moray Firth. Very comfortable bed in our spacious upgraded room. Decent breakfast, friendly and attentive staff.

Cons:

Sadly this grand old hotel has seen better days, and is very tired in places, with loose fittings, flaking paint and worn, stained carpets. The hot water in the bathroom was almost scalding, with no warning. The room was on the front of the hotel in direct sunlight, but only one of the two windows opened, and even then only by a few inches, making the room unbearably hot. Whilst it cooled later, keeping the window open at night meant we were woken around 5.30 am by the tour coach drivers having a loud conversation directly below our window.

Loved staying in Nairn and at this hotel.
Pros:

The hotel is very comfortable and looks amazing. It is in a good location and close to the beach. The staff were efficient and pleasant and took good care of us. Loved the field with he highland cows close by.

Great location, disappointing customer service
Pros:

The location of the hotel is stunning, only a short walk through a calm residential area to the beach.
The building itself is impressive, albeit in need of some upgrading to the deco and amenities inside.
Breakfast was generous and fresh, at excellent value for money.

Cons:

Ok, I never complain, and, if anything, make an effort to only mention the positive aspects of a stay. However...
I had booked a suite as I needed a bath tub and was told our suite definitely had a bath, as well as great views. On arrival, we were told this was a mistake and we were given the choice of a much smaller room with a tub or the suite without. I need a bath for health reasons, so we grudgingly chose the smaller room.

There was only view of a wall, no air con, and we spent the night awake and boiling hot.
They offered a free breakfast but no refund, and the cost of breakfast in no way came close to the price difference between the suite we paid for and the room we stayed in.

The receptionist, who also chased us for 11am checkout (despite having paid for late checkout) simply blamed a colleague instead of working towards compensation.
I complained by email but this was simply ignored.
