My family really enjoy staying here. I wish we had a room that faced the ocean.

This place is best for families
Pros:

The room was very comfortable, the views of the ocean and the sunset was beautiful . Also , Giuseppe's Cucina Italiana in down town Pismo Beach was fantastic

A great, relaxing stay for families with something for everyone.
Pros:

Some friends and I stayed in a double queen with a partial ocean view, and I'd overall say it was worth it! The location is great; Near Downtown, Avila Beach, and San Luis Obispo. The beach access (accessible via some stairs —be careful!) was definitely a plus! Our favorite part was the facilities/amenities: the pool, hot tub, and continental breakfast were all quite nice.

Cons:

The room was a little small for the number of people it could sleep. We're girls, so getting ready and moving around was a bit awkward. Also, the hot tubs could be a bit crowded, but this is not the fault of the property. Also, I completely understand this is a family hotel, but I feel there should be a policy on small children in the hot tub. It's not very relaxing when young children are splashing everyone.

The was the most unpleasant stay we have had here.
Pros:

We have stayed here many times. Mainly because of the convenience and the views.

Cons:

They must be under new management because I was trying to park the car while my husband checked in. They would not allow him to because they wanted my ID. Yet they asked for his ID because anyone staying in the room must now provide an ID. They wanted the credit card I used but the room was already paid for through PayPal.

Regarding scheduling cleaning they asked us what days since we were there for 6 days. I requested Tuesday and Thursday at 11. We waited for someone to come. No one showed. When we went to the front seat they stated they tried coming Monday but the door had a do not disturb sign on it so they left. I never requested cleaning on Monday since I just checked in Sunday night.

Pros:

It was very nice and I like the view of the ocean

Cons:

There was kids at 11 screaming and we couldn’t sleep. Towels kept running out at the pool.
