AS A Diamond level Hilton Honors traveler, I’ve stayed in all the Hilton family of hotels in Laredo. This is my preferred location but for reasons other travelers may not agree. I like the breakfast selections, having a full-size refrigerator, and ease of access from the parking lot.
The employees are always nice and professional. I also appreciate the breakfast attendant’s work ethic and cleanliness of the breakfast area.
However, the property is older and need of honest repairs. The hotel is poorly constructed. You can easily hear hallway and Nextdoor conversations. I always pack earplugs. The doors are so well made, when they close the walls shake. If a tornado is coming you should definitely find a sturdier structure.
I’ll continue to stay here as it is in a great area of Laredo, and appreciate the small things it does right.

Great experience
The room itself was spotless, and the service was excellent. However, I was put off by the presence of a dead cockroach near the entrance and two more in the hallways, which remained there throughout my two-day stay. Needless to say, I didn't feel inclined to have breakfast there. Nevertheless, I must admit that my stay was quite comfortable.

Excellent facility. Bed base could be a little quieter. But overall excellent all the way around.

The hotel wasn’t clean. We saw some cockroaches and insects, even in the breakfast... Definitely, this was our last time in that hotel.

Great location, convenient two different areas in Laredo
I stayed multiple weeks at this particular property on business. 2 out 3 rooms I stayed in had no hot water. Warm water yes, hot water….no. On my first visit I refused a room due to an overwhelming stench of what smelled like sewage. On more than a few occasions I would have to stand at the front desk for over 10-15 minutes waiting for the desk staff to emerge from the back.
On my last night I found multiple live cockroaches in the room. Thankfully, it was my last evening! Had I read the previous reviews about other guests seeing them, I would have never booked at this location. It’s obvious after my experience and reading the experiences of other guests, management doesn’t take pest control or cleanliness serious. Spend the extra $20-$30 and stay next door at Embassy Suites.
As always, my stays are excellent. I stay nowhere else. You have spoiled me.
