Cons:

We had a couple of issues in our room; ac was not cooling and toilet was not working proeperly, but after notifying the issue these were fixed right away.

La habitación con cama doble que elegimos tenía las camas demasiado chicas como para 2 personas. Prácticamente había que dormir de costado para no molestar a quien estaba a tu lado. Punto a mejorar el tamaño de las camas, por suerte fue una sola noche.

Cons:

Staff is not very friendly.
A/c broke down 1 of the 4 nights i stayed there. They kept saying jt was motion sensor and kind of blame it on me.. room was 80F and it was the third night, certainly not lack of understanding how an A/C works.
Room telephone to communicate with front desk wasnt working and staff was rude

Great location
Pros:

The hotel is in the heart of downtown, just one block from the streetcar. The deposit was $75. I only stayed for one night, but I really liked the convenient location.

Good older hotel conveniently located in KC
Pros:

Great location. Good breakfast with plenty of options. Quiet room.

Cons:

Our room did not have a window. We were told at check in that they could give us a voucher for a coffee but we asked if we could have a drink at the bar and were told maybe as it would be at the manager’s discretion. Will need to check the credit card statement to confirm. We also had a random person knocking on all the doors in our part of the hallway in the early morning. The person said they were checking refrigerators but no one at the front desk was aware of any issues. It was quite strange.

Fantastic staff and really clean, Drum bar, excellent.
Pros:

The staff on the front desk and the bar (Drum) we're amazing, saw I was on my own and took the timeout to interact with me which made me feel at home immediately, thank you for that. Also, the look of the place when you walk in blew me away, this is the only hotel I will consider when I return.

Cons:

Genuinely can't think of anything that I didn't like.
