Don’t stay here. Service is not good, mosquitoes everywhere including in the bar and restaurant, and they up charge you if you try to pay in Cambodian Riel.
We were here for 2 full days. Check-in took almost an hour. I asked them to break a Cambodian Riel bill, and they refused. I didn’t ask for a conversion, just take a large bill and give me smaller bills. They invited me to do that outside the hotel.
The layout of the entrance is bizarre. The “lobby” is physically separate from the front door. They only have 2 people to man 3 doors, so if you try to go through the doors, they constantly try to sprint by you after they open 1 door for you.
It’s hard to enjoy breakfast or happy hour if you are constantly being swarmed by mosquitos. These are indoor air conditioned spaces, but they are filled with mosquitos.
Staff does not speak English. They act like they do, but they don’t. I asked for an omelet and got a bowl of fried rice.
Check out took almost as long when I realized they were charging a 4.6% fee to pay in local currency. Everything in the hotel is charged in dollars. There are lots of nice hotels nearby. Choose one of them.
We recently completed a memorable 3-night stay at this beautiful property, and we are already thinking about how we must find time to return soon. What sets this property apart is how personal the experience feels. From check-in in its "living room" to the welcoming staff with genuine warmth in their service, this hotel captures that magic that sets it apart from other 5-star properties. We had two rooms--one upgraded as a Globalist to a spectacular suite with outdoor space, an outdoor shower--and the other a pool view. Both were beautifully appointed. The breakfast experience also felt unique with local entertainment and activities sprinkled throughout the courtyard. The hotel's own tuk-tuk fleet was very efficient and easy to use to get around town. The only negative we felt was dealing with mosquitoes, which may not be unique to this property, though the staff did what they could to mitigate them in our rooms by using repellent. Some hotel stays feel very special, and this one will certainly stay with us for a long time.
Location, friendly stuff
Relatively expensive dinner
Siem Reap was an add-on to our 2.5-week trip to Thailand, and we’re so glad we decided to include it. We ended up loving Cambodia, and the Park Hyatt made our time there truly special.
From check-in to check-out, we experienced some of the most exceptional service we’ve ever had at a hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted with fresh beverages, snacks, and even complimentary massages, such a thoughtful and memorable touch.
Although it’s a smaller hotel, we were amazed that the staff remembered our names, as well as our food and beverage preferences and orders throughout our stay. The level of personalized service is something we’ll never forget.
The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, and we also enjoyed the spa, where we had excellent massages.
The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of everything, which made exploring incredibly easy. The staff was wonderful, and we are still talking about the people and service! We highly recommend staying here.
Our stay was truly exceptional. As vegetarians, we were especially touched by the care and attention given to us. Chef Sharath went out of his way to create beautiful vegetarian dishes with authentic Cambodian flavours, which made the experience even more special. It wasn’t just about providing vegetarian food — it was about ensuring we enjoyed the true taste of Cambodia in every meal.
All the staff were genuinely kind, warm, and incredibly helpful throughout our six-night stay. Every detail and every need was thoughtfully taken into consideration, which made us feel completely at home.
After six wonderful nights, it truly felt like a home away from home. We are so grateful for the care, hospitality, and personal touches that made our stay unforgettable.
Every thing was above expectation
Throughly enjoyed stay! Especially loved spa - Sen was wonderful!
We had a wonderful stay at Park Hyatt Siem Reap. The location truly cannot be beat — right in the center of town and an easy walk to Pub Street, markets, and restaurants. Although it’s situated on a busy street, the moment you step inside the compound it becomes incredibly peaceful and quiet. It feels like a true oasis.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Service was warm, attentive, and consistently professional.
Breakfast was well-balanced — not overwhelmingly large, but certainly not limited — and the quality of the food from the menu was excellent. Everything we ordered was fresh and beautifully prepared.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap.
We had a fantastic stay at Park Hyatt Siem Reap. The team was warm and attentive, with special thanks to Marylin, Makara, and our tuktuk driver Soknath for their exceptional hospitality. The beautiful amenities and thoughtful decorations made our honeymoon truly special. Highly recommended!
We stayed at Park Hyatt Siem Reap while visiting Ankor Wat. This trip was to celebrate our 30th anniversary. I appreciate that Park Hyatt team send us a thoughtful celebratory package. I also found the hotel peaceful and staff kind.
Excellent facilities and outstanding staff. Hotel location is very central and close to Angkor Wat.
We booked this hotel on the basis of an excellent stay in their sister property in Hua Hin in December. And we were so glad we did. It sits in the centre of Siem Reap, but you wouldn't know the bustling city is there. there is such an aura of calm, smiling service delivered by the staff. The art on display, in the public spaces and bedrooms adds to this aura. The service the staff deliver is both exemplary and understated; true Khmer hospitality. The one drawback for us was the relative lack of sunbathing opportunities which were limited by the design of the building, but that was overcome by using the facilities at the Sofitel. We were sorry to leave.
Beautiful property, great breakfast, we highly recommend the French toast! Also we enjoyed the Apsara show, nice check in experience. The food was flavorful.
We had a wonderful stay at the Park Hyatt in Siem Reap. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning including coconut water in the coconut and a free neck massage. Quiet instrumental music playing in the courtyard was heavenly. The service was impeccable both at the hotel and restaurant! The rooms were super spacious and the beds very comfy. We were sad when we left. Would definitely come back again !!!
The entire Park Hyatt team were amazingly efficient and helpful. The
location of the hotel is near great restaurants, twenty minutes from Angkor Wat, and has a Tuk-Tuk stand outside of the hotel. The room was very spacious. I particularly liked the bathroom, stand up shower, and complimentary water in the room. The breakfast buffet was delicious and opens at 6:30 in the morning for early risers. We booked our sunrise tour to Angkor Wat with the hotel. They had coffee, pastries, and sandwiches ready to take with us at 4:30 in the morning. In my opinion, it wad a very good value for all of its amenities.
Loved, loved, loved our stay here! As soon as you step into the hotel, it's like you've been transported into a tropical oasis! From the check-in process all the way to the checkout, nothing but kindness from the staff. Food was delicious, we loved our suite with the plunge pool, spa and gym were also great. Good location, just minutes walk to Pub Street. The hospitality here is top notch and I would definitely highly recommend everyone to stay here while visiting Siem Reap and I hope to come back one day!
Great place to stay, location has access to restaurants 8min walk and 2 min by car/tuk tuk
The pool is amazing and the facilities, the team makes you feel at home
This is a wonderful hotel. The facilities exude charm and attention to artistic beauty. The public rooms have peaceful areas in which to relax; and the two pools and gardens are excellent. The buffet breakfast was extensive and imaginative, with a high standard of Western and local dishes. Our room was large and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed and provided with tasteful amenities. They have a lovely spa and gym. Without exception the staff were so helpful and friendly, that they really enhanced our visit. The hotel management has gone out of it's way to try to ensure that all is perfect for a splendid and fulfilling stay. They have succeeded in that aim and we are grateful to all concerned and would love to return again in the future.
Faultless.
We’re traveling around Asia in January and February. Siem Reap is our most anticipated stop as we’ve been wanting to check off Angkor Wat off our bucket list. Angkor Wat did not disappoint. Staying at the Park Hyatt made our visit unforgettable. We will surely be talking about this leg of our trip for a long time. At check-in, we were offered beverages and neck and shoulder massage. Free 10 minute neck and shoulder massages are also offered in the morning during breakfast along with traditional Khmer coffee and waffles. After coming back from touring we relaxed by the pool where service was also great. Late afternoon, we enjoyed hanging out in The Living room to have drinks. Their happy hour prices were great bargain! By early evening there’s a traditional Khmer dance show that ties the day’s experience in a neat bow. We stayed for four nights and the days went fast. We were upgraded to a Standard Suite with my Globalist status. The room had a large living room, a powder room, a walk-in closet and a wet bar. The hotel is conveniently located in town, a few blocks from the night market and famous pub street. We enjoyed dinners at the hotel and also sampled a couple of restaurants in town.
