Worst ever
Cons:

Terrible! The owner first takes your money and says now go sleep in the street I don't care where you stay don't come here. I went there they didn't let me in the property fespite having a booking with them. Completely crazy person

Overall the room was completely adequate for my needs.
Pros:

I did not have breakfast because I had to leave very early, before it was ready, although the proprietress kindly offered to give me an early breakfast if possible. My main reason for booking the location was that it was a 5-minute walk from the main station, so that I could get to the airport quickly, and here my expectations were completely fulfilled. Another nice gesture from the proprietress was to make a desk chair available so that I could use the internet more effectively for accessing airline websites in the room (this was the night of the big snow storm in the USA, causing cancellation of flights and the need for rebooking). She also did not charge me for Wifi use, despite my impression from the online description that there would be a fee. This was most helpful. My being an older traveler who could speak fluent German may have helped to make a good impression in this case.

Cons:

The proprietress kindly upgraded my room to a larger one. This was good, but there was unfortunately a bit of a smell in the bathroom. I had asked for a quiet room, but this was not possible. Although the room was on the top floor of the building, the noise from the streetcars could still be heard at regular intervals. Because I was there on a weekend, this was probably less annoying than it might have been during the week. It also appeared that the building was undergoing renovation on the lower levels, which might also have produced noise during the week but did not affect my stay on the weekend.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the female employee treated us rudely, saying "no" to our every question. The next day, when we asked where breakfast was, she told us we couldn't have breakfast there. Even after we asked her to check the system, she was dismissive. After we insisted, she checked the system and said "okay," but then she insisted us to sit at a dirty, two-person table, even though there was a person there and was sitting at a four-person table. I told her that other people had just left and the table was dirty, Also I said her that she should be more polite to us. Then her attitude changed. But for two days she was always rude and made everything difficult.

Cons:

Na het boeken kwamen we erachter dat we eigenlijk een jaar te jong waren, we belde het hotel en ze zeiden ons dat we niet meer konden komen. De dag erna had ik opnieuw contact via chat en konden we toch komen, dit werd bevestigd in de avond. We deden er alles aan om zo snel mogelijk er te geraken, maar miste onze trein aansluiting waardoor we er niet voor 22u geraakte, maar pas om 22:15. We mochten niet meer komen.

amazing value for money

Awsome central location with all you need!
Pros:

An excellent choice within walking distance from the train station and with many restaurant options close.by. Large, comfortable and clean room, very friendly staff, will definitely be my favorite for Düsseldorf center stay.

Wir kommen wieder
Pros:

Das Beste war das Frühstück. Wir waren sehr überrascht, als wir zum Frühstücksbuffet eingeladen wurden, und ganz ehrlich, es war sehr lecker. Danke nochmal dafür.

Cons:

Leider war das Zimmer sehr warm.
Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung
