A very pleasant stay in a good location, walking distance to some lovely restaurants overlooking the bay and very friend
Pros:

The location was good, if you wanted to go to the old town there was a bus stop right outside the hotel. The hotel had a nice swimming dock, although one side was a little rocky. The staff were all charming and always happy to help with a smile!

Cons:

It would have been nice if the hotel had a pool, also it would have been nice if the mini bar had something in it.

Pros:

Hotel molto bello fatto stile villaggio vacanza, fuori dalla struttura un ristorante, diversi punti in cui sedersi comodamente tra zone tavolini, lettoni vista mare e sdrai che davano direttamente sul mare e in una minuscola baia in cui fare il bagno. Vista bellissima e diverse camere affacciate sul mare, colazione ottima, parcheggio abbastanza ampio di fianco all’hotel.

Perfect base for touring
Pros:

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast in the mornings and dinner buffet available in evening times for 25 euros per person. Bus stop for bus no 4 right outside the hotel which runs every 20 minutes direct to old town. Basic hotel clean perfect if using to explore as a base for dubrovnik or tours to Bosnia and Montenrgro. Gorgeous sunset and plenty of outdoor seating for restaurants. Own beach.

Cons:

Make sure to buy own or bring own water. Water not readily available at breakfast or dinner. Asked could we fill our water bottles and couldn't without purchasing a bottle for 5 euros.

Lovely hotel originally built in the 1920s. Great breakfast and direct access to private beach. Would stay again.
Pros:

Location was great with a private beach. Bus stop directly out the front to catch into Old Town (15mins) very easy, come every 15mins.
Nice to be out of Old town for the accommodation.
Breakfast was superb… best buffet we had in all of Europe considering this hotel is considered a 3 Star hotel.

Cons:

Construction across the bay during the day which echoed all day long (digging into rock) think it may have been happening for a while now, and still many more months to go…
Hot water ran out on our last day… hotel fixed it, but took about 5hrs to reheat.

Dubrovnik - Eine Reise wert...
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels war sehr angenehm. Das Hotel hatte eine eigene Busstation, von welcher aus direkt zur Altstadt gefahren werden konnte. Ausserdem gab es einen direkten Zugang zum Meer. Es gibt 3 verschiedene Restaurants mit gutem Essen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig und ausgewogen. Speziell hervorheben möchte ich Paula von der Rezeption. Sie war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und konnte den Flughafen-Transport tipp topp organisieren. Sie hat den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gestaltet. Die Zimmer waren tip top. Wir werden sicherlich erneut im Hotel Splendid übernachten auf einer Reise nach Dubrovnik!!!

Cons:

Das Bad war etwas ringhörig, so dass man die Zimmernachbarn jeweils gut hören konnte beim duschen oder auf dem WC. Aber das war eigentlich der einzige negative Faktor

Room was clean and the patio was small but nice. OK view of ocean past the garden. Staff was helpful.

Cons:

Jackhammer noise from construction across the bay was super irritating. Buffet dinner was poor.

Pros:

Great location on a regular bus route. Easy to walk to restaurants and bars. Great breakfast buffet. Helpful friendly staff.

Cons:

A tad noisy from the bathrooms above. Wifi a bit patchy. Hairdryer very low power.

Pros:

La localizacion

Cons:

Las camas son demasiado suaves, las almohadas terribles. El lobby antiguo y lleno de papeles, la presentación de los baños con esas tinas tan altas son peligrosisimas para personas mayores y deben mantener las areas comunes (jardineria)
