You get what you pay for, I guess.
Pros:

Nothing. The room smelled horrible, the bed was uncomfortable, and it was filthy.

Staff are helpful. Kamloops hotels are priced high for value so budget Inn is less compared to similar places.

Does the shower work now?

Cons:

Room 116 I couldn't turn shower on due to the diverter valve being stuck off. Had to have a bath after a 12 hour shift 🙄
The window was wide open when I got to my room with no screen in it...? And the curtains dont go up

Last week I lost most of my food for the weekend due to a fridge that didn't hardly get cold in room 222
It seems they aren't crazy about upkeep at this motel and though its cheap, its not reliable enough to make it worth going back again

It was quiet, needed a place to reset, room served its purpose for me.
Pros:

Close to restaurants, and shopping

Cons:

Bathroom door knob, and one of the door hinges were loose, the bathroom fan sounded like it was struggling, the control for the heatlamp kept springing back to "off" as soon as you let it go.
The floor lamp was loose from the base, and that lampshade was dirty inside - like spilled coffee stains in it or something, tv could not be controlled by the remote, cigarette burns in the carpet, and needed to be vacuumed. There was a damp, bleach smelling spot on the top blanket of the bed. No coffee pot, or kettle in the room, just fridge, microwave, 2 coffee mugs and saucers, and 2 glasses. Heat/ac unit worked well, tables, surfaces, toilet, and tub were clean.
Tub could be recaulked, some wall tiles in the bathroom were coming off, odd spots on the walls and door trim could use paint. Towel rack above the toilet was barely hanging on on one side, towel rack by the sink was loose too. There was one light switch that didnt seem to do anything.
Parking area seemed cramped.
